Well we are in for some good snow in the next few hours. My 3 yr old Ian has some new snow pants and snow boots he can't wait to break in. I think we will build a snow fort and a snow-man and snow angels, and throw snowballs! Any other suggestions on what to do for snow fun on a snow day?

Get a crazy carpet and go wild at your local park (or any other place with a steep hill, like a road, or lower end of an overpass...) I love the snow, not only is it awesomely fun..but we get snowdays!WOOT NO SCHOOL!

Aww.....beautiful snow.......We love to do the snowman and snowlady....Kids find anything and everything to decorate them...We also go treking over to the local country club, with sleds, toboggons and even metal garbage can covers to hit the hills with dozens of other people....The best is playing hide and go seek, and see who gets to throw the snowballs.......Well have fun, we're still waiting for our first snow to go out and have fun........ rolleyes.gif

lemon popcicles grin2.gif their great!

^-^ ewww tongue.gif

snow ball fights
making snow people
and my favorite
snow + inner tube + big hill = one hell of a good time
I advise against the last one for small children.
The inner tube goes very fast and flies up in the air easily
on bumps.

I used to throw snowballs at my dog and he'd jump in the air catching and eating them.

I was snowblowing Saturday and Sunday, I was burying the kids with the snow spray. They were having fun. Sledding and Snowballs are always a fun time.

Oooooooooooo build an igloo. It's fun and quite easy. We usually bring out a big pot to put the snow in and a spatchula to spread it smooth. When it's done smooth on cool water for stengthening (with cups from the pot and smooth with spatchula - like a cake) YEAH! *giggles* We even bring out knife saws later and cut out a window. WOW my kids loved it and I used to do that as a kid. Warm memories. Oh yeah, and follow with steaming hot chocolate!!!!

ALSO, if you live near a street hill that's not driven much (I am) we bring out pots of warm water and pour it on the streets - instant ice - then we sled lightening speed! Eeeek! ONLY WHERE NOT A LOT OF CARS. You go REALLLLLLLY FAST! My brother chipped a tooth once. Be careful!

I dug my car out, and shoveled the steps and driveway... does that count as playing in the snow? Just wondering

I envy you. Wish I could choose it.

Personally I hate snow. I did try to learn to ski. All I got was a few large bruises, and very miserable.

mhm. I live in about the dryest hottest part of Australia so having never seen snow I can't say.

But I would love to throw a snowball at my bros head. I've thrown about everything else. grin2.gif
