The prophecy:
I was sitting with my ex girlfriend a rainy night outside and having some kissing moments when a lightning strikes above us and i feel that my eyes are burning me cause of the light this lightning caused. When i opened my eyes my ex was in shock and could only say "your eyes...". I did felt a heavy burn on my eyes but i didn't thought that it was that serious that it could make my girlfriend be in shock. When she managed to say more words, she said that my eyes were having a red light and you could see something like a vortex. I laughed and said that she was acting paranoid but then 2 days later, the same event happened only this time.. 4 people saw that again in my eyes.
When i told that to a friend who is interested with stories like that, he told me about a prophecy that he heard (personally i never heard about that). He said that in a book he once read, that it was more about the end of the world, there is a man with a name from the nature that will show to people what hell is from his eyes. My name is Rose so my friend says that this is the name coming from nature. All that happened 3 years ago and since the past month it never happened again until that month that the same thing happened infront of my parents which they freaked out.
Now, all i am asking is: has anyone ever heard about this prophecy before or anyone heard about something similar to my case before? Cause its annoying for me cause i never saw that. I can only feel a burning in my eyes and nothing more :/

The Vampire:
I was always interested about the Vampire society. I was one of the members in the CoV (Church Of Vampires) but i found out that they are a bunch of posers and so i left. my original nickname is LasombraQ. Lasombra is supposed to be a vampire clan in an RPG game called Vampire the Masquerade. Anyway i have searched as much as i can about their history, myths and legends and all that stuff like any other vampire freak would do.
Anyway my story began almost 2 nights ago when i saw in my dream that i became a vampire out of nothing and i was locked in my room with my parents knowing what i have become and they were trying to help me. I tried to fight back my frenzy for blood but it was driving me crazy. My mother tried to feed me with normal food but every time i was swallowing the food i had a pain in my chest and eventually vomit with a large amount of blood. Then i woke up with a pain in my chest and went straight to the bathroom and vomit. I went on the living room, switched the TV on and although the show i was watching was interesting i couldn't focus my vision on it. My mom asked me if i was ok but i couldn't talk and i felt my body going numb and eventually i fainted.
any one ever had that kind of experience before?

The card Games:
Almost a month ago a strange man asked me among 10 people from my company to show me a little card trick. I said ok, what do i have to lose anyway? As soon as he started i felt like some kind of electricity passing through my mind and i felt numb again. He was showing me a card trick that he could make 3 cards float. i know this trick and it's easy to be made. but then he made the cards float into other directions and what was really crazy cause i couldn't explain it. He said his name was Shur Kay and that he was from egypt. He didn't asked anything as an exchange, he just said that i had to see these tricks.Me and not the rest of my friends. And i never knew why. I never saw this man before but since then, i feel like i can do things that i am not aware of but everytime i try, nothing happens.

That was a little introduction from me. My name is Rose, 24 years old, i grew up in Greece but i am from Germany. I am male! tongue.gif

The Prophecy: I think you have some very imaginative friends. Flash... Red eyes... Remind you a bit of what happens when a photograph is taken? I don't want to go into the science behind it.

The Vampire: I've had dreams when I was sick, got sick in the dream, and got sick when I woke up. Sounds like sickness, which can include disorientation and fainting, combined with a very vivid dream that was clearly fueled by your obsession.

The Card Games: I honestly just think you're highly imaginative and want to be unique in some way.

I mean no offense at all. I promise. happy.gif I really want to hear about this ten year dream of yours. I've had some interesting experiences of my own. I'm not quite sure where you should post, though. PM me about it if you'd like.

Edit: Ah! I found your dream post. rolleyes.gif

i do have a lot of imagination indeed, i might be paranoid over some basic things i won't deny it but no i don't think i wanna be unique in anyway. most of the people i know have experiences, some of them might be real, some might not. i can't know that. i can't even know if all these have any scientific explanation but i just thought it would be better to tell someone who is in to that kind of things.
no offense taken, i know how all these sound

Hello, Rose. I have hesitated to respond to this thread, because I do not know that you want to hear this.

Eyes: The interiors of your eyes are red. So are everyone else's. They look black to anyone looking at you without special illumination, including you looking at yourself in a plane mirror, because the onlooker's head blocks the path of every light ray that could possibly pass into your eye, be reflected out, and then reach the onlooker's eye.

Perhaps you are familiar with the shiny mirror that physicians wear on their heads, the one with the hole in the middle for one of their eyes to look through. Or, of course, an onlooker can simply shine a handheld directly light into your eyes. Either way, light can get inside your eye without being blocked by the onlooker.

That is why so many flash photographs show "red eye." It is perfectly normal.

Vampire Dream: My guess is that you got sick to your stomach. You dreamt about what you were feeling, a dream that featured being sick to your stomach. This is normal, and is sometimes called incorporation. Apparently, for you, vampire imagery comes easily, and even I have heard that ordinary food would be indigestible by a vampire.

Card trick: I did not understand what card trick you were referring to, nor how this man's version differed from what you already knew how to do. Perhaps if you told more about the trick, then I could say more about the incident.

Mostly, I want to learn the card trick.

I have told you new things, now it's your turn to tell me something new original.gif .

Well the card trick i know, is some cards attached to some thin as hell strings that are glued at the back of your ears. If you are wearing a dark colored shirt, nobody will ever see the strings.
So anyway all you have to do is make the other person look at your hands and not on your head. So when you start moving your head, the cards move too.
But then this guy moved the cards in different places like they were really floating. I searched on google and youtube and i only found the card trick i know and i couldn't find anything about his card trick.

anyway the rest of the answers were more than satisfying for me. like i said, i tend to create panic out of nothing and i guess these could explain everything.

Thanks for explaining the card trick. I appreciate it.

Glad you liked the explanations. Welcome aboard, by the way.

(In your longtime recurring dream, next time you have it, ask the girl to come with you and go talk to the guys in the BMW. If she won't go with you, then go talk to them anyway. You'll very likely be glad you did, and maybe you will not have the dream anymore. That's what usually happens when others report that type of dream, which is very popular here at UM... an unexplained mystery in itself?)

And Asphodel - how ya doing? I sensed that was where you were going, but I was desperate to learn that card trick original.gif .
