A five-year-old Malaysian girl has lifted 14.7 kilograms (32.34lbs) to earn an entry into the local book of records, it has been reported.

T Logassree completed a five-kilometre run at a school in northern Penang state before performing her record lift, which was sanctioned by the Malaysian Book of Records as the heaviest weight lifted by a child.

"When I grow up, I will bring a good name to the country and will strive hard to be an international athlete," the petite girl was quoted as saying.

Yes I agree also.

If it is true then parents who are like this need to realise that if they were unable to live out their dreams themselves should not live it out through your children. It is selfish.

That is how it is in other countries. and it is not wrong to push your children to acheive good things instead of pushing them away which is traditional in our country...

Good for her...If she has the ambition and the drive then she should go for it......

There's a difference between pushing them to achieve good things and conditioning them to be an olympic athlete at 5... but if that's what the girl wants, hell yeah! Go for it!

as long as she has fun training I mean shes five I'd hate to see her lose her childhood for five minutes on a podium
