Alucard and Ceres! I have always been interested in vampires, and the ways of taking them out. Here you have the best of both worlds; vampires that take out the more unwanted vampires. They BOTH look cool. And they've both got really big guns too.

My fave is tom & jerry (the original though)

Will propably change if I find a better anime, but until then his to be Kirika Yumura from Noir, because she has to be the greatest human killing machine outside someone with super power (she kills a guy with only her ID card for crying out loud!). For the coolest character though, it'd have to be Vegeta from DBZ (see avatar).
