I would so like somone to turn the dark tower saga into a movie. My favorite series of books of all time. It would be cool to see somone like Sam Raimi direct a few of them I think he could pull it off and get Clint Eastwood to play Roland. But each movie would have to be around 3 hours how does that sound?

I would like 3 hours for an action movie or adventure movie!!

Being a fan of Edgar Allen Poe, in many respects. I'd like to see more than a "Simpson" takeoff of "The Raven".

A nice adaptation, in accordance with Political Turmoil so prevalent these days, as in the uptake of Hemingway.

Not literal, but symbolic. As, the poem is introduced, and carried. A messenger should foreshadow an act of Death, that is to follow later in the script. And, the actors should try and interpret the meaning. As the event unfolds.

Then, for an ending, the very same message delivered. By another messenger, to another group. Wouldn't even need the Bird of Death on that one...

Pretty sure I've said this a few times on UM tongue.gif But the Shannara books, think they would make great movies.

I'd like for them to make Crime and Punishment into a proper movie; and I'm not talking about those crappy "modern" adaptations of the book, I mean a proper motion picture

I've lost count of the number of times I've said this very same thing to people. Hell, they made all his other books into movies and screenplays an, imho, The Dark Tower series is the best King has ever written.

Totally agree. If they can let Terry brooks write the book of SW- The Phantom Menace, then they should make his other books into movies as well.

The character of Roland Deschain was based on The Man With No Name from the spaghetti westerns, there would be no-one else who 'could' play him.

I think I love you, marry me. wub.gif

I'd like to see more screen adaptations of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. I'd also like to see some of David Gemmel's books made into movies as well.
