people hear what they want to hear, if your looking for devil refrances you'll find it, because thats what your looking for, If you wern't you wouldnt even notice it, i'm sick of people saying rock/metal music is all "devil music", dont like it dont't listen to it and leave people who do listen to it alone
most music is devil music, comes from the vain cries of the devil in man. The devil becomes an archetype of being without God, or chosing self over God. Or in reiteration chosing to be without God.
Thereby, many musicians, in their... theirness... are singing the songs of the devil--because it is the pains of his spirits that are outputed.
Songs are like snapshots of the artist's conditions. These condions are meant to be momentary, as the moment itself is sure to empy it's belly and be refilled with newness.
So what. music. becomes altars to moments, that within God, were granted death, and they should.
Both Trent Reznor and Johnny Cash invade my mind with their beatiful song 'hurt'-- working like prayers over and over again-- holding my focus and attention-- and they do not deserve to be held in image like that - yep the work of the devil. Even that song.. if you look at the lyrics, they become abstact clothes for the meaning im trying to suggest you you guys. dont. take. 2 serious tho. what can we do.
Back in the day, if they song, they song songs of praise to God. How new is our music culture?
