Many individuals have heard the term "Illuminati". But what, or who, are they? Are they some society of ultra-wealthymen and women ruling the world from the shadows? A secretive group of powerful users of high magik? It's hard to say, truthfully. Then you get those who are the "posers". Those who claim to be part of the society and may even talk a good line, but when it comes down to it, they merely are dreamers. Not to say I've not had my run-ins. Were they, truly, Illuminati as they claimed to be? I don't know. I do know I'd be a fool to say yes, or no, without defined proof. Of course these encounters were not pleasant. I tend to wear a very unusual amulet a dear Druid friend made for me some time ago. It's magik is undeniable even by those that do not believe in such things in general. And, over the years, it's kept a condition I have from getting out of hand. In these run-ins, the individuals who claim to be of that well known, yet not very well known at all, socieity have tried to forcefully remove it from me. I do regret the actions I was, at that time, required to make to protect it.

But that takes me to my point about such groups. A group like the Illuminati ARE powerful not because of their magik or of wealth, but because of the mystique behind them. The longing of a human being to be part of a Society that gives hidden, possibly even ancient, knowledge to those privilidged few that are allowed to ascend into the ranks. Then there are those that claim to be of such organizations just to be able to have something that makes them appear more than they are. The hard part is, how do you sort out the truth from the fantasy?

When one joins a Society, depending on the group, it can be a good thing. Despite the secretness of it, it can be something that makes you feel special, honored, and give you the stregnth to do good in your life. Or, it can led you into doing yourself, and others, great harm. Who are the Illuminati? Are they a sect that is not unlike the Masons were a few hundred years ago or so, or are they something deeper and far more dangerous? It comes down to, I suppose, what you consider to be "dangerous", doesn't it?

What do you think?

No, I was not mugged. Heh. All they wanted was my amulet I wear. A mugger would've wanted my purse and they had no interest in my purse. Fortunately, a few strikes in the right place with a hard fist did wonders to getting the stranger to leave me alone.

Their "power" is in a direct proportion to how many suckers they can make believe the fictions put out about them. So potentially infinite, then.

And how do you "sort out the truth from the fantasy"? It's called studying history. It's not very exciting sometimes, but it does give one the knowledge and perspective to say "this is a right load of old codswallop." However, if you want buy into the fantasy they wrap around themselves, be sure to start reading the blog here I'm starting after New Years, We Were As Fleas in the Ears: The Secret History of the Ancients and their Basset Masters. It'll have plenty to do with druids, the Illuminati, the Annunaki and the Sirian Hounds that controlled them all.

There is a group of people who are trying to control the USA. They have the ability to change the laws of this country and even to amend the constitution. There is even a very similar group in Great Britain. As far as I know there is a similar group in almost every country in the world. The one in the US is called Congress. I think in Britain it is called the House of Lords. it is a proven fact that these groups work in concert with each other to decide what happens around the world and who benefits or loses from various situations. They even have an oversight body where the different viewpoints from each group are arbitrated. They call this one the UN I believe. Yeah with all that going on, and all the abuses of power and shady corrupt deals that are perpetrated by these groups, I can't understand why people have to make up crazy stories about shadowy groups that no longer exist trying to do them bodily harm and or take some special talisman from them. I think it is pretty telling just from most of the posts of the people who think up this stuff that they are so overwhelmingly alone and feel so unimportant that they are just trying to give a little purpose to their lives. Of course most of them I think are just cuckoo crazy. Not to call anyone out by name but come on, wake up and read something besides the pseudo scholastic tomes that I keep seeing some people fall for. A very basic knowledge of history and geography, as well as an eighth grade understanding of the functions of world governments will protect one from overactive imaginations. I would suggest that a lot of people I read on here would do well to discuss their delusions with a qualified professional to get the help they truly need. If they don't want the help they could still benefit from a little time in a facility. If they believe Stitchin, Icke, etc., just think of the KNOWLEDGE they could gain from the other patients in the asylum!

Happy New Year.

Sounds like something out of a bad movie wink2.gif

Anyway, does the Illuminati exist? Yes, there is no denying that. Are they as powerful as everyone thinks they are, No, I don't think so, it's possible sure, but I think they just want us to be afraid of them, so if they ever do something and we find out they did it, we'll think they're about to take over the world.

I dunno. I could do a pretty good job of denying them, I think.

"The Illuminati do not exist."

Yep, there you go. There is some denying that. Now, denying they ever existed would be impossible, but there's precious little reason to think they made it past their dissolution 200 years ago.

Forum guidelines
Please respect the opinions of others. The conspiracy forum covers some sensitive and controversial areas and it is important that participants avoid uncivil behaviour. This means no flaming, no trolling, no flamebaiting and no personal attacks against other members.]

Please try to keep an open mind, there is little point in posting in this section if you are unwilling to consider any opposing viewpoints. If you are unable to discuss issues without becoming rude and offensive towards anyone who does not share your opinions or beliefs then the conspiracy forum is not for you.

Members are also asked to avoid copying and pasting huge amounts of text from other web sites to support an argument. One or two quoted paragraphs and a source link are more than sufficient, and always include your own opinion to go along with any quoted material you use.

I think some people on this and other forums truly need to consider the rules around here when it comes to what they say. Not pointing fingers at anyone or anything. Just being honest.

Not pointing fingers at anyone else myself, but me disagreeing with other people's opinions and their blanket statements isn't flaming, trolling, flamebaiting, or a personal attack against other members.

I agree.

yeah, I guess I should have thought about that, lol. I do believe they still exist in some form or another nowadays, but yea, if they don't, they at least existed at one point in time.
the eternal me
they have a wierd "glow" to them ( in their auras )

the comment about congress, yeah ok, but the people in congress that "get things done" are there because they are willing to "do their part" in the grand schem of things.

its all through the back doors. it takes money to get elected.
studies in poly sci in universities have shown that the person people will vote for depends on who they have seen the most.
large ad campaigns cost money, those that have it control who gets elected, and this rings true all over the world.

the contraversy over bush being elected over gore.

gore would have caused problems for the large industry in the states ( as revealed in "an inconvienant truth" )
whereas bush just "tows the party line" as has been proven by history.
face it, bush is not that smart. he has an IQ of 96, whereas the average IQ is 98. two points ooooooooooo big deal.

but think of it this way, the average guy you can talk to on the street that when you walk away you think to yourself, "man, that guy should read a book" bush has less of an ability to "read a book" then that guy.

hahahahhahaha

it was during the "regan years" that those "around" the president knew that he was lossing his marbles, took the actions to "take the power away from the seat of president".
clinton tried to get it back ( he has in IQ of 140, jenius is at 160 ) but as we know a good smear campaigne can do a lot of damage ( monika )
how many other presidents have had the same kind of crap going on in their lives?
how many of them had the same kind of effect on their position?

weather the ilumnati exsist or not?
who knows, but the evidence that there are "other" powers at work are numerous and undeniable.

I find it interesting that people who say this seldom ever pony up any of that "numerous and undeniable" proof: just 'cause you say it is don't mean it's so.
