As some of you may possible know already, Nephilims are the hybrid children of humans and fallen angels. In a couple of videos and websites that I have observed the Nephilims were viewed as giants with 12 fingers and toes. In a most recent discovery in Iraq a possible skeleton of a Nephilim was found and it s length was said to be at least 32 or 36 feet long. Maybe the possible titans of Greek mythology where maybe Nephilims as well or the giant in the story of David versus Goliath. Their seems to be evidence of Nephilims in almost every culture in the world which seemed to have some stories of some kind of ‘giants’.

I thought this would be a pretty interesting topic to talk about. I’m not really sure if any of this is totally true though, so that’s why I brought this subject up. I want to know what you people possible think of this and if any of you have any possible additional information you may want to add to this will be gratefully appreciated.

that was one of the lamest videos I've ever seen sorry. Those ufo vidoes looked awfully faked and I'd like to see the credentials for this person. I just saw abunch of skulls where it looks like the people had deformities.

I do know that is it written in the very bible before the account of the deluge in the time of noah and how that whole thing came to be as far as hybrids yes bullys at that too from what i understand they had to be destoyed as for few did though escape the flood because they were able to manifest into the unseen world and therefore the reasons of the complation of the stories in the boble are made sensible as to becoming fufilled as it has been subscribibed in the questions we all ask and is a very interesting topic indeed. Genesis if I recall correctly starting in chapter 3 starts speaking of the nephielum and the flood due after.

I think that if there were Nephilim, then they would have died in the Great Flood. That is, of course, if you believe in Angels and the Flood. Otherwise you need to believe that the Nephilim were half human and half something else (alien?), and I just don't think that happened. And if it did then they are probablt either riding around in space with those that created them, or all dead.

I think the giant skeleton found was proven a fake. Some kind of advertising for a video game I think.

Alien maybe, but half angel, no way. The bible says that angels are neither male nor female so it would be hard for them to father childern. The giants in the land refered to men of great power, political power. Sons of God(the righteous followers of God) and daughters of men(women of pagan tribes).

The large skeleton could be from someone with acromegaly – a disease resulting from a tumor on the pituitary gland causing it to pump out excess growth hormone.

In all liklihood the Nephilim were simply mankind's distant memory of the Neandertals that did live in a time before numerous post Ice Age floods. The so-called watchers, or bene elohim are almost universally considered to be large sentient reptiles, largely referred to as "dragons" today, and could not produce offspring with humans.

I thought the Dragons could shape change. If that is true then couldn't they assume a humanoid shape? If they are divine beings doesn't that put them outside the regular rules of physics. So the Nephilim could have been half-dragons.

I don't know what you people think of when you hear "nefelim", because lots of people have weird ideas about them....

They are hardly mentioned in the Bible, but in the apocryphal Book of Enoch, there is very interesting information about them, and it all seems very valid, but it seems like a story that is thousands of years old, and some sort of way survived down to our time...Enoch is Noah's grandad, which means that he lived a VERY long time ago.

In the Book of Enoch Noah was said to look like the Nefelim when he was born. The nefelim were said to have "white" hair and light eyes...Something that really frightened Noah's family when he was born because everyone was dark haired and dark eyed.

I pride myself in pretending to have lots of Biblical knowledge, but I don't have much on this topic because I haven't done the proper research. I wonder if perhaps these people/beings that lived along side of modern man may have been the species Australopithicus(yadda yadda, all of the fossils of the early hominids...). After all, we have fossil remains of these people that appear to be human with certain differences, almost ape-like characteristics. Just speculating, but it makes sense to me. I've always thought science and biblical texts had some common connection.

According to the accounts given in Genesis, Enoch, and Joshua, here is a summary of their mythology:

Angels came down from heaven and bore children with human women. Their offspring were giants. These giants began to terroize mankind, so God sent a flood to wipe them out. Some survived however, and conquored the land of Canaan. The Israelites were later commanded to wipe them out, but instead wandered in the desert for forty years. They later returned to Canaan and destroyed the Nephilim. There are other references to giants throughout the Bible but it is unclear whether they were believed to be Nephilim.
