i have a problem with my Windows Live Messenger

It was working fine this morning, but then it started acting weird (might just have been my computer going slow) so i uninstalled it (wish i hadn't now) and after restarting my computer after 4 hours i tried to reinstall Windows Live Messenger onto my computer. However, the installation checked from previous Windows Live programs on my computer and then it went to install Messenger it said "Not Installed" i have tried system restore, tried fixin my firewall, my internet settings, and restarting again. i checked Microsoft Online Status, it says its running and stable. Can anyone help me, please? I really need it installed on my computer QUICK! i have a business meetin with fellow colleagus tomorrow!

Go to Start > Run and type: C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\msnmsgr.exe and click OK.

Does MSN Live Messenger start up? If so, it's installed and you've just lost the short cuts on your desktop or start menu.

i searched
its not on my computer.
i took it out....but its when i try to install it back in using the installer downloaded from windows live it says "not installed" why wont it install onto my computer ?

i got WLM running. since i couldnt install it on my computer. i transfered the files from my dads computer onto mine, however it said that the "sirenacm.dll" file was missin. so i downloaded that an copied it into the windows live folder in my hard drive. now WLM is working.

however when i try to install MSGPLUS it says that i need a newer version of WLM, the problem is. when i try to install a newer version, the WLM installation wizard says "not installed" beside MESSENGER & SIGN-IN ASSISTANT

is it my computer, or the installation wizard.

i really need this fixed.
