Has anyone heard of the Freda and Greta Chaplin twins? Not only are they identical, but they dressed alike and spoke the same words at the same time! They have been doing this ever since they could speak! Even their hand and body actions were a mirror image of one another. If Greta raised her right hand, Freda would raise her left. If one of the twins broke a shoelace, the other would pull a lace out of her opposite shoe!

When researchers tried to create differences in them by giving them two different bars of soap they became very upset and broke into tears. The problem was only solved when they cut the soap into two and shared it equally amongst the twins.

Researchers also discovered the reason that they seemed like one person was because their mothers have always make them dependent of each other and dressed them alike. She also forbided the twins to have any friends, resulting them to becoming more and more similar in manner as they grew up.

During an interview, this is what they said," We're so close that we're actually one person. We know exactly what each other is thinking because we're just one brain.". Creepy isn't it? Looks like a case straight from the X-files ...

Actually, my sister and I do some of the weird things that are usually only seen in twins. She is 20 months younger than me, but we have had so many of those weird coincidences. She will be with someone, and say "I need to call Sabrina" (me) then her phone will ring and it's me, and vice versa. I've felt pain when she has hurt herself, and vice versa. We say the same thing at the same time constantly, and although personality wise, we are about as opposite as you can be, we almost always pick out identical gifts for each other, or if we are both in our cars, and I call her on her cell phone, we will both be listening to the same song on the same CD at the same time.

I don't know why, and I can't read her mind or anything. It's always been like that so I don't think much about it.

Yes, they are many documented cases of twins able to feel each other's pain. Meaning, if one accidentally cuts her hand, the other will feel pain even though if she is totally oblivious of the accident. Apparently, they also tend to think alike as in the examples you have just stated. My opinion is that these things occur because twins share a stronger connection( unknown to science yet ), but I believe it could be brainwaves or something of that manner...

The same gene. They wear the same genes. Shoes are optional.
