"UFO Hunters" is coming to The History Channel February. I saw the commerical for it like last night. I can't wait for the show! It looks like another copy of "Monster Quest." But focuses on UFOs instead. Though the commerical made it interesting. Oh I can't wait for it to air February. original.gif

Neat-o!!!!!!! I hope this show finds something!!
MoonPrincess
Oh. That'll be awsome, Cheese. Or they could let the aduicence make up their (whatever the word is).

But we'll have to wait & see what they find.

Cool. I'm getting cable on the 2nd of January.

But I live in Australia. I hope our History channel is the same. I'm pretty sure it is.
~Cheese~
It should be.. I'm going on their website to check out the show.

Sorry for bringing the thread back to life. ^^;

I saw the commerical. I didn't catch the date really. But it's suppose to air somewhere next month.
~Cheese~
Yeah next month

You won't find it on History channel website. It's coming on the SCI-Fi channel. It's being produced by the same people as Ghost Hunters, hence the name.
I'm not sure how long it will last though. I mean think about it. Ghost Hunters can go to a place where a ghost is supposed to BE. UFO hunters can only go to a place where a UFO has BEEN. Kind of hard to catch any evidence of something that has more than likely already passed through, and won't be back that way again.
Should at least be interesting to see what it will be about though.

It looks sweet.

I hope they're not going to just analize one video and then try to re-create it to see if its a hoax or a plausible sighting. Frankly, I don't like to watch people sitting outside in bushes waiting to catch a UFO. It would be a waste of an hour to watch.

I hope they break down the sightings and see if it is explainable or not.

Then every sighting is going to be swamp gas to flying insect to weather balloon or blimp.

I don't see how they can investigate a video unless it was tampered with...Hmmm? Then it might be worth watching then.

Why is The History Channel airring the commericals on their channel? Just wondering.

Why? I am a skeptic, but not every sighting can be explained.

True, we just don't know from what we see in a video. Alright, I'll watch and see what they got to show coming next month.

Possibly both channels are owned by the same company, so pimp each others shows out. But, it is airing on Sci-Fi.

I was very confused as to why two different ufo hunters series were premiering on the same night on 2 different channels... I've been flipping back and forth and think I like the scifi one better. It's a lot like ghost hunters (same producers).
Walter Sullivan
Just watched UFO Hunters. It's very interesting. It does look like a lot like Ghost Hunters, with the same narrator in the intro & everything.
Bear's Quest
I caught the first half and its very similiar to ghost hunters but I fell asleep in the last half. I was expecting it to jump right into UFO's caught on tape or something.
From what I watched, there was no video or drawing of what witnesses saw and was a little disappointed about that.

The History Channel's UFO Hunters show "investigated" an admitted hoax...as I posted here

So what's next for that show?...an "investigation" of George Adamski and his Venusians?? grin2.gif

There was actually two shows on the same night with same name, two completely different shows. The one one the History channel wasnt very good known hoax, but the one on SciFi was pretty good the first half wasnt that good but the Cataret sighting was good they had video, witnesses including a police Capt. and a priest, the FAA said they hadnt picked anything up, but the FAA report shows multiple contacts moving at incredible speeds, had an abduction that seemed fairly credible, I liked it.
