The more I look at it, the more it seems like religion seems to do more harm than good. All it seems to do is bring more conflict than good! It just divides people more than having us come together! I believe in a higher power however but sometimes I wonder if these different religions were created to confuse people and to keep us trapped. I mean so many disputes over which religion is right! Personally if there is a god, he would want us to realize that we're all equal and that having conflict over something senseless is wrong. I've been thinking about this, I've grown away from the religion aspect of things and just started focusing on my own spirituality. I believe in god but something doesn't seem right with how religion operates or the world operates for that matter.

Well have you ever heard the phrase If its worth fighting for there must be something to it, Why do you think there are so may arguements on the subject. Its very controversial and I as a christian who does not doubt God in any way, Wish that all the world believed in God and there would never be any conficts and we would be at peace with everyone. If i am not mistaken thats Heaven we are talking about. Someone here said God created evil just as he created good, If thats true then we are not suposed to lve in harmoney quite yet. How would we know heaven to be so great if we lived in heaven on earth, Heaven wouldn't mean anything to us (christians).God wants everyone to love him just as he loves us, But he knew that would not happen because of satan and his fallen angels they now had a ''Catagory "" to fit in. I think either you believe in God or you don't, Thats two seprerate groups and I know many think thats wrong there are many many religions and they all have special meanings to who ever follows them, I am not saying you are wrong. I just in my opinioin seperate the world in those two groups That is easy nicley wrapped up you could say, But yet so simple. You will never get rid of religion, Even after God returns then it will be either God or the antichrist, That it will takeplace in my lifetime or yours I don't know no one does but it will happen, Always a pleasure.

In my own little personal life the world is so much better since I dumped all my religious baggage.

I don’t believe that religion is the problem it’s man. Once again it seems that we’re talking about Christianity because of the OP. There are those people who still believe in a vengeful God those are people who go to far like I said before it’s man not religion.

Having NO relegion wouldn't be for the best...

We would just need a faith that had no chance of splintering and promoted peace and non-jackkasssery.

Mankind only needs an excuse for war, and religion is just that, an excuse, the same as politics and philosophy.
Man will always find some excuse for his greed.

Actually It was because God played favouritism with us over Satan which must have been really hurtful for Satan so who can blame the guy for not liking us very much.

There will always be religions as long as there are people who think alike, Or believe alike. even not believing God exists is a religion, or belief (Athiest).

There has to be something to guage our beliefs on in order to make an educated way of life for ourselves, which imO, should never be dictated by a Group Claiming To know all when God is infinate,

Yes, can you imagine those gulag planets in man's future? Isn't that kind of scientific-marxist society just an unreal utopia? Since when was mankind without religion?

But the future religion of the Druj would be somekind of New Age styled mix of those Druj religions seen so far. Druj religions that has caused man so much suffering through ages. As Dr.McKoy said in ST5 "I don't believe in gods that makes man suffer". But the major problem is not those Druj religions but Drujs at themselfs. Religion of itself is not bad if it is about Light.
