Synopsis:

The story of Joe Conrad, who is awaiting the death penalty in a corrupt Central American prison. He is "purchased" by a wealthy television producer and taken to a desolate island where he must fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world, with freedom going to the sole survivor.

It is not the usual kind of movie I watch, but I was bored. What I am writing about is that this producer is putting over the web, a reality show of ten cons on death row. Now, this idea, I found to not be so far fetched. I mean we had the videos of the prisoners in Iraq be beheaded, Saddam's hanging was watched, why not something like this? Has anyone seen it? Am I that far off to think that something like this would actually pass through someone's mind to try and produce it?

I doubt anyone COULD ever produce something like that...at least not on this part of the world.

This movie was really good, though. Those action scenes were very intense.

I wish we would make those shows like that. Could charge people for watching it and fund our prison systems 100% and then use the left over money for domestic projects.

I liked the movie to but I was annoyed by the preachy moralists.

I don't doubt that they could do it. There are snuff films all over the internet already. That's all this would be. And unfortunately the quest for the best reality show has millions already watching crappy tv. Personally, I can't stand any of these reality shows, I find them all a waste of my time. I know there are people who would watch if they produced something like this. Even if I agree with the death sentence, I wouldn't want to watch them die.
