I just bought BioShock for my pc and everytime i open it, it stops responding and this is the problem details

well did you update all the needed drivers, do you have all the windows update, do you have the latest DX9 or (10 if your running vista) and did you download the bioshock patches I believe there are two of them.

Try deleting the BioShock settings folder.

Also try installing the patch if you have not already.

If you have vista try running the game under administrator.

OK my initial prob wuz solved but now i can open but it cr@ps out at the first loading screen

Any ideas???

Turn of the shaders and try and play the game.






But as far as I can tell this game is giving almost everyone problems.

i turned off the shaders and know it loads just a lil bit further but this is an even newer problem

Try updating your visual run times to the latest versions and also try disabling visual themes.
