Well, my daughter and I would joke around about our "fairy". We could leave things on the counter, and it would go missing. We would either find them in really weird place, or after searching, we would find the missing object ( usually keys) back on the counter. This really freaked out my friend who put her keys on our counter. We were going to go out and she couldn't find the keys. Her, my daughter and me looked all over for them. And we walked by the counter numerous times. All of a sudden, she found them sitting right int he middle of the counter. We laughed about it, but she was freaked. I don't see how three of us could have overlooked them sitting in the middle of the counter with nothing else around them.....
What is it about keys I wonder? Most of the time when I read these kinds of stories, it's keys that are missing.
I went on a little ghost hunt a couple of weeks ago. It's a little old lady who lives in a shoe

j/k. She lives in a really big old house and she keeps having problems with, well the usual, doors slamming shut, windows opening and closing by themselves, hearing voices etc. etc.
I came into her living room and sat down on her sofa while she poured me some tea. I laid my keys, which are the black box type key for the car (which I loathe and despise) with my business keys attached, on the end table about a foot away from me.
I sit there and drink my tea, while she tells me what's going on in the house. I'm thinking that she's just lonely and afraid about living in this huge house, but I nod politely and we set up a time for me to come and investigate. I reach for my keys and they are gone!
I was sitting there the entire time. We searched all around and back outside to the car, even though I knew I'd left them on that table. When I went back in the house to call my husband to bring me the spare, there were my keys, sitting on that little table where I'd left them. Bizarre!
