This video goes over the declassified documents released by the government to stage terror. I think that this is kind of scary, and that it should be all over mainstream news.

It's an historical event though, provable with documentation released under the FOIA. One of those plans that were considered then abandoned.

Operation Northwoods is useful reading in regard to 9/11 when it details how the very top ranks of the US military planned for all of the following: -

• Staged terrorist attacks on US soil
• Fake plane hijackings
• Fake passenger lists on a non-scheduled flight
• Mock victims and fabricated newspaper casualty lists
• Repainting of aircraft to resemble another
• Duplicate aircraft converted to drones
• Pilots under an alias
• Disappearing aircraft
• Shoot down of a plane and planted wreckage
• Creating public backing against the Cuban government
• Justification for the military invasion of another country

We know this was planned for in 1962... does anybody think it possible elements within the US goverment may have formulated such a plan since? Or did this sort of thing happen only in the 60s with the US now in totality being the embodiment of virtue and morality?

I read Operation Northwoods. It called for creating a plane full of college students that would be shot down by Cubans, justifying going to war with Cuba. It was SIGNED BY ALL THE TOP MILITARY OFFICERS AND PRESENTED TO PRESIDENT KENNEDY. Kennedy said NO. But it demonstrates that the TOP military leaders were willing to sign on the dotted line and actually do the dirty deed.

This story is partly why I believe 9/11 was a false flag operation and was an inside job.

Nope. It is actual historical FACT. Although it was a conspiracy by our top military officials to create another false flag operation that would allow them to go to war with Cuba.

I totally agree it should be headline news. BUT. Do the research to see who owns the U.S. media, and you will know why this story will remain suppressed.

If everybody just used Google and looked it up for themselves they would see and it would no longer be considered conspiracy, but they might be too busy watching American Idol on tv. In 1983 there were 50 dominant media corporations, now there are five, so this information will never get out.

Exactly, and look when this story hit the news, it was before 911 in 2001, somebody knew and released the documents as sort of a warning I believe.

Mainstream media is "in bed" with the Govt, they will not report this.
