Okay, I was reading a Woman's Day magazine a while ago (it's an Australian mag) and it was a Supernatural issue.

Apparently some guy had been hearing voices through his computer, and had recorded some. The first one he recorded was his mother saying "I love you, John," (which could very easily be faked), and some other ones of late relatives contacting him. I can't remember the exact details, but I'll try and find the issue again. Has anyone heard of this before?

I have never heard of being contacted through the internet , but I dont see why it couldn't happen because they can use recorders , tvs , and any other electronic equipment that makes noise . So yes , I believe it is very possible.

oh I have heard lots of stories of spirits being heard over the PC....check out www.aaevp.com....there is a story about a young lady that died (her nickname is Cat) that communicated through the PC....calling for her mom....and the recording is on the site.

I believe it's possible, I've heard to stories of people getting communicated to by their iPods...

Most times it's simply the wires in your house acting as an antena, picking up radio signal and playing it through your computer speakers. I had this happen to me 3 times before I knew what it was. It can be freaky ... but I am sure there are legit cases of it too. Just the usual suspect here is a radio signal.

OMg I hope I don't hear that when I am on this site....lol. Talking about ironic! I have never heard voices on my computer. I didn't know it can pick up voices.......if so it must be pretty uncommon. But I tell you what...if I heard an evp it probably would be saying hellllllllllllllooooooooo youuuuuuuuu!!!!! You are spending waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy to much on the computerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

I have actually heard those exact words before , of course shortly after that she left me !!!!!!!!!!!

LOL Thats odd cause I started a thread a week or two back asking about hearing voices coming from my computer/speakers, and we have all heard it. Its deep and male, that is all I know. I would love to record it, but I cant just in case its anything negative, I would be in for trouble. So for now, I will let it or them talk all they want..JN

I've heard stories of people who received email from a dead relative weeks or months after they died. Supposedly the email headers were carefully examined and it wasn't a spam or someone tricking them.

I have my doubts though.

As for voices, I do think EVPs can be obtained via radio. In WW2 British radio operators heard voices on their sets they couldn't identify. They presumed it to be the Germans. After the war when Nazi records were examined no record of transmissions at those times were found.

But for voices over the net, I'm less convinced. On radio you have lots of white noise. That I can see generating EVPs. But the net is digital, non-audio. Nothing for an entity to use to generate an EVP.

SEE! I knew I wasn't crazy!! I have 6,000 watts blasting right at my house from a radio transmitter site across the street from me! BOO YA! (stole from Eric - hop off I'm using it).

I wouldnt be comvinced either IF I didnt hear it myself, as does my son and b/f..It can be loud, but its always the same voice, and as I said, either a moan, or groan, or short word? I skeeered so shut them off more lately LOL..Yea I got my initial EVPS from my clock radio, loud and clear!! JN

Well yes and no-- I knew who the spirit was but I had not known him in life. Its complicated.. lol

Oh yea I've heard of the actual radio one many times. It's the computer that has me confused.

Darn that sucks! I have never heard anything like that with my computer!....Well my computer sucks anyways....but I am a firm beleiver when it comes to EVP's. I really do beleive that is voices of spirits. I mean.........think of the times that EVP's have been actually telling investigators their name....which is the same spirit they are investigating....think of the circumstances when you hear an EVP....like....the spirit saying turn the recorder off!!!! Or calling out YOUR name...ehhhhh.....radio signals...ahem, I think not!....LOL. I think it is a break through for investigators, to contact the spirit would without having to have them communicate through mediums....and seances. so why not use it?

I had a call that freaked me out! Someone on the other end said I am dead then hung up! Man that was messed up! LOL...I think it was a prank though....probably one of my friends...I still dunno who did it.

This is so weird because just yesterday I was talking with my father about computers that he had which had come and gone (he just got a new one) and then I see this thread about a man hearing dead relatives through his computer...

...and I was hearing dead computers through my relative....

...very strange indeed...

The dam alarm clock!!!
i get somekind of warnings or signs waterver out of it.
it just randomly begins to rang a times i need to do something and im usualy alone.
an alarm that never did ring, one with the time off by 3h and 2 of them alarm seting off or just not the right time to ring.

before going on a date, sleep, and needed to shower lol.
well anyway the alarms now freek me out and i do believe in spirits but could that b some too?

I've had voices come through my computer speakers and it turned out to be truck drivers on thier CB radios as they were passing in front of my house. But I am sure that spirits can use computers to communicate if they want to.

I want a spirit to give the winning lotto numbers on my PC

Yeah. But the speakers and speaker wire are almost always analoge. Although that would mean, of course, that it wasn't technically through the internet.



I've heard voices through my computer a few times and it scared the heck out of me. Very creepy. Turned out it was my computer's dialup modem making phone calls to people instead of computers. The voice on the other end of the line was picked up my my modem's speaker of course. That might explain a lot of these situations.

I've heard of this happening before as well. I've lurked far more than posted [by the time I catch up on a little reading I usually don't have time to post lol], I recall a member here posting about a voice coming through the computer which responded to her questions if I recall right [believe it was Anvil, sorry if I have the wrong person], but had heard of it happening before then as well.

If DRV communication is possible when not the computer? I don't know that it's usually the case [discarnate voices] though, I suspect that more often then not the source has been/is mundane [as others have explained has happened to them], but that's just speculation [on my part].
When it comes to the PN the question is not only what do we know, but, what don't we know? Difficult to draw lines in the sand, that is to say what is and is not possible, at this stage of the game, IMO.

Research that various scientists [and others] have done on EVP/DRV [ITC] over the years has really been quite remarkable. The work of Dr Raudive in Germany, Friedrich Jurgenson in Sweden, Peter Bander in England, Marcello Bacci in Grosseto, Italy, or Professor Walter, Alexander McRae, Professor David Fontana, Dr. Anabella Cardoso, & others such as George Meek, the Butlers, just to name just a few.

I fail to see how Media Skeptics [well I use the word skeptic loosley, IMO psuedo-skeptics, cynics, scoffers, debunkers, is more accurate] such as CSICOP, Randi, et al, can outright dismiss it [as some have] given the results obtained, in particular with controlled experiments done in labs and sound proof studios with screening etc.
I'm not aware of any one explaining these classic cases on a scientific basis [that is in a credible scholarly rebuttal after critical examination], actually with some of the dismissals I've read this research wasn't even touched on, nor was any evidence provided [based on extensive research done] to support their claims [and dismissals].
During some of the experiments other skeptical minded scientists attended and referred, they were unable to explain what occurred [same for the electronics/sound experts on hand].

I believe it is possible... any item that has an electro magnetic field can be manipulated my spirits!
