When I was serving in the Navy near Seattle in the mid-90's, I was told by a friend of a field in remote Washington. Supposedly a group of hikers in their early 20s stumbled apon this field and immediately after leaving it they all aged 60-70 years. A few days later they all died. According to my friend the government closed the entire area off and no one is allowed anywhere near this field. Since the field is so remote not many people have heard of it. Has anyone elso heard of this field, and if you have where can I find info on it? I have been curious about that story for a long time, and now would like to find out if there is any truth to it.

I've lived in Wa. State all my life (40 years) and have never heard of this.
Any indication about what part of WA this "field" is in? Eastern? Western? North? South?

Unfortunately I really don't have more info to give. I must admit at the time I heard the story I was 19-20, and more concerned with drinking beer and chasing girls, so I didn't pay much attention to it. However, over the years I think back to that story and wonder if there is any truth to it. I've researched it on the internet and found nothing. However, I must be honest I really don't know what exactly to search for. I do remember it came up in a random conversation about Bigfoot, UFOs and things of that nature. I also remember the friend who told me was dead certain his story was true. But, unfortunately, that's all I remember.
