Did you know that mile for mile the Isle of Wight is the most haunted island in the world?
Why is that?
Reckon that might be one of those tourist trap cons... sort of like how every county has a pub which lays claim to the 'most haunted pub' in Britain...
Don't know reason why- but since it's an obscure fact (think isle of wight and you don't automatically assume hauntings), maybe it isn't a tourist board ruse

Not really following the logic there I'm afraid...
It's a common claim made in places across the UK, 'most haunted' this and that. Probably the rest of the world too. I've been to about three pubs and four houses each laying claim to being the most haunted in the UK, let alone the world. How would you even begin to determine something like that?
Anyway, I'd choose the Isle of Man instead, 'cos one mongoose ghost clearly counts for 50 normal ones
Well, I googled the term "isle of wight ghosts" and got a ton of returns, most commercial or ads for a book of that name.

my arm pit is the most haunted arm pit in texas. these lights streak down my arm and straight out of my fingers i have no idea what causes it. but if I don't get the ghost wet often enough it starts to raise a stink.

Really? I've never heard of the Isle of Wight being exceedingly haunted..

Yet again I repeat - ALL villages/towns/cities etc claim to be the 'most haunted'!!
The Isle of Wight is a very odd place, and is believed to be the centre of practicing Satanism in the UK....but that's piffle as well
