Hi, I"m new here. I signed up because this seems like a good place to ask if anyone knows how to put together a group for exploring areas of purported paranormal activity. I'm putting this in this board because the place I have in mind is mostly ghost/haunted-related. I want to explore a huge swamp in Massachusetts called the Hockomock Swamp, which is the centerpiece of a larger area known as the Bridgewater Triangle. There have been supernatural reports here for over 300 years, including UFOs, will o the wisps, voices in the woods in Native American language, mysterious burial grounds, giant phantom hellhounds, giant birds and other giant animals, animal sacrifices by satanic cults, and even bigfoot. There's a similar place in southwestern Vermont I'd like to check out another time.

Anyway, I am interested in getting a small party of people together for a night-time exploration of the swamp. This board might not be the right place to seek that out, but I'm hoping someone knows how to put together such a group, or if there is a forum for organizing such things. Thanks for any advice.

I've done some night time exploration, usually on horse back and I gotta say it is the best. As far as putting together a team-- there's so much you have to consider, it's not funny. And above all else-- do not take someone who is easily frightened! They'll get you hurt...

That is kinda wierd. I am too far away from there. It would be cool to go, but knowing me, I wouldn't like it too much. Good luck! alien.gif
