I've been waiting years for You can't do that on television to come out on DVD, it came real close to Paramount who owns Nickelodian was getting ready to release it as part of their Nick rewind series one of the actresses the one they called Moose even said on her blog that she had been contacted to do some stuff for supplements. But the set was put on indefinite hold which sucks!

I want Supernatural seasons 1,2 &3! wub.gif devil.gif And I wouldn't mind all the seasons of The X-files. Bones and CSI would be a bonus, too.

Oh, it was this show on TV two years ago...
I can't remember the name, and they only showed us something like 8 out of the 14 episodes..

Something to do with aliens, and fractal patterns...

So good! But I can't get the DVD here in australia...

Fastlane. Best show ever. Ended waaay before it's time. The possibilities of it coming to DVD are very slim, unfortunately.
FireMoon
The Owl Service (with original ending)
Sky 70s Brit TV series
Adam, The Stranger.... Early 60s sci fi series about an alien visitor to Earth.

The rest of Gargoyles. sad.gif Only season 1 and part of season 2 were released by Disney.

Glad to hear I am not the only one who misses this show. I was completely shocked when I found out it was canceled.. They should NEVER have moved it to Friday nights, that's where they went wrong. Was a very good show, and they left us with a "To be continued..." too!

I am waiting for the entire run of Barney Miller to be released on DVD. That would make me a happy clam. I'd have to have someone else operate the DVD player, since clams have no hands. Given what is available on DVD, I am really surprised they haven't released it yet.

"Project UFO" I haven't seen it since the late 70's .... so it's probably not as cool as I remembered it!

The timeslot really had nothing to do with it being cancelled. It actually had very good rating all through it's run. FOX cancelled it because they are cheap b*******. Each episode cost approximately $2.2 million to make, which they did not want to keep spending. I guess they thought it would be better to spend that money on loads of absolutely horrible reality shows. It won't be coming to DVD anytime soon, either. In order to do that, they would have to pay rights to all of the songs again, which as you know, this show had a LOT of songs. Most of the bands that were featured on there are no longer around or are not as big as they were back then, so that would end up costing tons money to get the rights back.

Me too. I also want the second half to come out. A handful of my favorite episodes are in the 2nd half.

Other shows I want on DVD are Sightings and The Scariest Places on Earth.

You can do that on television was the holy grail for me to find online.

This show is so rare and obscure now it can rarely be found, in my never ending quest to have all the stuff i like to watch this for years was always high priority. Just about when I was going to give up the entire series just popped up online and s now in my DivX collection burned onto DVD.

As this show gradually slips into obscurity it will become less and less likely you will be able to find it online and even less likely that the show will be released to DVD.

You want this show I suggest you do what I did and look online for it like I did.

I cannot believe I forgot to mention this show when I first looked at this question: The Kids From C.A.P.E.R. This was a live-action TV show when I was relatively wee...About 10 or 11, I think. I loved that show. I loved The Kids From C.A.P.E.R. so much, that along with the shorts shown on The Banana Splits show and such Filmation cartoons as the Sentinels (later the Space Sentinels), I would put a tape recorder up to the TV to get episodes on tape...particularly the songs one of the characters was bound to sing to some beautiful girl that week. C.A.P.E.R. stands for the Civilian Authority for the Protection of Everyone...Regardless. If I remember correctly, the guys were around college age and each one had a unique attribute. Doc was the suave smart one, Bugs was short and strong and would go ballistic when someone said the word "Banana." There was P.T. and...um, some other blonde guy (I'm blanking out his name now-- I'll be embarrassed if I discover it was "Tommy"). I belong to a Kids From C.A.P.E.R. Yahoo Group List that pointed me to the only thing I've seen since it was one and that has been a You Tube video of the usual "video/song" ending (this one with Doc singing). I suppose they were trying to be a little bit Monkees,* a little bit Beatles, as best they could in the age of Disco.

I am certain this show would not hold up now, but on a very personal level, it is just one of those things that I would still love to see again.

Isn't that the spelling for the band?

OMG "You Cant Do That On Television" was what I used to race home from school for.

"Bannana Splits hey? "That was forever ago". Loved that show.

I was hoping to get Charmed for Xmas last year, but nothing.

My cousin dwnld Supernatural, Stargate and Scrubs, I love Scrubs.

I want every single episode of Catdog, Ren&Stimpy and The Angry Beavers.

Who needs DvDs, just about anything I would want to see can be found on the internet. Even if pulled from Youtube and other mainstream sites, you can always find what you are looking for somewhere.

I'd rather have a hard copy so I can sit and watch on my couch or when I'm laying in bed rather than sitting infront of my computer screen on my computer.

Agree.

Robot Wars. You can find wee snippets of it on YouTube, but it's not the same. Wall-to-wall Robot Wars and I would be a happy girl. X-Files too, but I know where to find that plus Primeval, Medium, I Claudius and a mini series called The Dinosaur Hunters which I saw an advert for on a recorded tape.
