New Years are starting over
In more than just one way.
For mending broken fences
That have gotten in the way.
It means a new beginning
For one to try and be,
Loving and forgiving
To all who mean so much to them.
For hurts we may have caused
To people in our lives.
We can only say we're sorry.
And hope for another chance.
May the New Year find you happy.
May cares you have be few.
May your hearts be filled with laughter.
And your lives with peace and love.
