The Highgate Vampire is a case that has always fascinated me , wondering what forummers thought of it?

Complete and utter bunkum!!

Have a look at the plethora of websites available - but be discerning - a lot of them seem to believe in nutty Sean Manchesters' claims!
The Skeptic Eric Raven
There is already a long thread on it. Do a serach. You will enjoy the debate. I believe it is a bunch of bunk. With people trying to make money off of a story.

One thing I find interesting about these Vampire/Werewolf stories is their overlap into other phenomenons. Let's face it - Vampires in a cemetery overlap with Cryptozoology (They would be unknown life forms), UFO phenomena (It feels UFO-Like in some of it's high strangeness), and ghosts (It's a cemetery....).

Does anyone else think these types of cases are important? After all, in all the most important cases of any of these three, the other two parts are almost always present in one for or another (I have heard multiple Bigfoot accounts that also include references to strange lights in the sky, and the Chupacabra is related to cattle mutilations, for example). I think the overlap might be the important thing, rather than any particular Vampire, Ghost, or strange light....

Highgate Cemetary itself looks like a great place to visit. I think they have some sort of "friends of..." thing going on where you're charged admission and they use the money to keep the cemetary in some sort of order.

I found this.
