Hello Veliska.
It could be but there are so many reasons why it couldn't be.
What would be the point of a entity moving the planchette when the guy wasn't there? And why did it only move once?
It could be faked and I don't think it would be too difficult to fake either.
Regards,
Mabon.

Thanks..lol. I was just wandering, I didn't know that it could move by itself! I just thought it was werid. Thanks for your opinion.

Have you ever noticed that at a restaurant when you have ice in your glass and moisture forms underneath, that sometimes your glass will move across the table? I've seen this happen many times. Notice at the beginning of the video, the guy grabs his drink, touches it with both hands and places it back on the table. Then, he moves the planchette around and around on the board. In my opinion, he still has moisture on his fingers and whhen he's moving the planchette around, he's overlapping his fingertips onto the board to get it wet. So, when he leaves, the planchette slides after some time, just like most things will do when they are wet and sitting on a slick surface.

Of course it's not real, come on folks...
Excellent observation, ImaLoner.

its could be fake cause when playing with the ouijaboard you have to keep your finger on the board cause if not the spirit will come out

If by "spirit" you mean "ideomotor effect," I'm right there with you.
And that's all I got to say about that.

I love when that happens... freaks me out all the time. It happens the most when I get miso soup... the soup bowl always slides across the table.

The video looked staged to me

Am I sure?
Relatively sure, yes. All reason, logic, and experimentation point to the ideomotor effect.
No experiment in a controlled setting has ever indicated anything but the ideomotor effect, and experiments have proven that the ideomotor effect is real. For instance, when a subject views a ouija board and then is blindfolded and the board is either taken away or turned upside down, the pointer still goes to where the person thinks the appropriate letters and answers are.
It is a logical explanation.

He could have had a thread hooked to it. Amazingly I predicted it would move in the direction the guy disappeared. I was right.

OK, let's look at the video as a whole. Why would someone have a camera pointed at their couch?? Not to mention, centered perfectly where the ouja board was going to be placed.
Then, why is the cushion that the board is sitting on a different coler than the rest of the couch??
My opinion.... The back is missing off the couch, someone is behind it, reaching up into a cushion that has a hole in the bottom of it, with magnets. They put magnets on the pointer, aimed a camera conveniantly at that spot, had the guy set it down, waited a minute, then whoever was behind/underneath the couch moved the magnet to make the pointer move, and BOOM, they are instant youtube celebrities!!
I've worked at haunted houses for over 24 years, and have pulled very similar tricks many times.

Was his cel. phone a decoy Hmmm... when he picked it up he wiped it off as if thier was something like a string attached to it?
I also noticed where he was at is where the direction the pointer went.
the seat cushion looked suspicious to me too.

Why would this guy have a security cam in his living room? more importantly, why would he be watching the tape recorded of him playing the Ouija?
