I actually watched this a few times... Madness. This is just a horrible thing to do to children and frankly... Anybody. To burden them with guilt and to use fear mongering for them to spread the word of christ. hmm.gif

It didn't. wink2.gif

Though if I do get grabbed one day by the giant angel... I'll just blame you and all the other christians here for not convincing me that Jesus was my savior. laugh.gif

I think he was trying to describe what it'd feel like as a soul without a mortal body.

I think that if a god would send a little girl to hell simply because she had not heard of him, then he is no god, but the devil himself. It's just wrong in my opinion.

I watched the beginning and could not waste the time. It was Favorited: 1,121 times ... hopefully by those who want to note what Not to watch and to pass on to educators.

Jesus, who did not get upset too often, could make this quite an exception.

If I'm not mistaken, that vid was posted before and Saruman removed the link and locked the thread.

In any case, I think that vid is tasteless and offensive (and somewhat boring as well).

The video itself was posted before by another UM member who foolishly thought the video touches the heart.

The thread was locked and the link to the video was removed because it did not receive a very good response.

Tis crule to place such guilt.
Im not going to blab on and say" oh If gods real and died for our sins and such, then why would he let someone portray fear like in this Video".

The letter from Hell says, "Wish you where here". I see that as promoting pain, blame and seems somewhat demonic in its own.
Be hell true or not, religious or not, implying that the reader of the letter should be in hell is a MASSIVE scare tactic if Ive ever seen one.

Yes, the story was quite sad and It makes you think about your own demise.

Oh blink.gif I didn't see that link before he removed it. I found it earlier on Heathen.tv from the SEB website about a teacher who showed this video to his health class.

Least I got it in the proper section tongue.gif I really just was questioning the christian stance of hellfire as well as using fear tactics from the bible.

Their is no 'Christian' stance. Many 'Christians' believe everything in the Bible literally...others don't...there isn't a 'one size fits all' belief...even for Christians.

That being said...Hell is as real as anything else...if you believe that it is...

very true, then again you would become insane in either heaven or hell.

As already noted above, SaRuMan has already closed another topic posting the same link due to the response received. I will go ahead and close this one
