My favorite Beatle was John Lennon.
I think because I enjoyed his music
after the Beatles more than anyone elses.
Plus I was really deepenly saddened by his death.
My favorite Beatle song was: Hmmmmmmmmmm
Helter Skelter Maybe I don't really have a favorite song...they are all
favorites!

For me it has to be George Harrison. Everyone goes on about Lennon and McCartney, but Harrison wrote 'While my guitar gently weeps' IMO the greatest Beatles song.

I like Ringo because he is the luckiest man alive. He is not an exceptionally talented drummer or song writer, he just happened to meet the right band shortly after they kicked out their drummer, and the rest is history. His position could have been filled by anybody, but his story really makes me believe in fate.

mines is the dynastinae also known as the rhinoceros beetle, !
they are usually fairly large and mainly brown or black in colour. the thorax plate of the males has one to five horns. with dynastes hercules from peru these can be up to 90 mm long. the beetles eat fruit and their larvae consume rotten wood or humus.
very interesting!

|
I don't care too much about the split as I have never really been a beatle's fan. I was intrigued by the relationship. Initially because she was plain...later because from what I've read about her not being nice. Julian Lennon said, Yoko would not let him have his father's belongings. Instead Yoko, gives them to charities that she likes. Julian then has to spend his money buying them back. I am always intrigued when people are propelled thru life with negative energy like that.

There was/is a rumour that still hasnt been put to bed that Lennon was having an affair and was planning on leaving Yoko before his life was ended (im not suggesting anything about the murder)!
MI5 also found evidence that Lennon gave money to IRA fronts which given his stance on violence would seem very strange (maybe Yoko behind his back).
IRA?

I did not know that bleeding heart. That is interesting. I would not be surprised if those rumors were true. I believe that Yoko could have been able to push Lennon's buttons to that point. I shall have to look into that. Do you know if Julian has said anything about that?

I think my favorite would have to be Curly...Oh wait Beatles, right...
They are all rather amazing in their own way, so it would be really hard for me to pick one favorite. I can pick a favorite song though: Imagine. Very moving song, wonderful and thoughtful.
I have always been amazed that folks can write songs like that; that stuff is just floating around in their heads...What a gift!

Paul, 'cos we share the same name.
When I was (very) young my uncle got me a chocolate easter egg w/ a little figure playing a guitar and 'Paul' on it. I had no idea - then. Wonder what it would be worth now...?
'Helter Skelter' and 'Piggies' are particular faves, 'Revolver' best lp.

It is a great song but unfortuantely for Paul, he had nothing to do with writing this one......The Beatles had already split by the time this was released by John as a solo artist.
John would be my favourite but my favourite song ( at the mo' ) is " Something " by George Harrison.

Science? Oh Geography!
As a county Sussex is quite long and narrow. If you travel too far south you will get soaked; too far in any other direction and you will stray into Surrey, Hampshire or Kent. Tourism, agriculture and finance are popular industries. A high proportion of elderly people live there, especially in coastal resorts such as Eastbourne, Worthing, Littlehampton and Bognor Regis (known to most as the last resort.) There are a lot of castles in Sussex, many of which are also elderly and often claimed to be haunted.
And, more to the point, Paul McCartney lives in Sussex.

No. I feed sandwiches to birds and then eat them.
There's a lot of old rockers in Sussex. Bryan Ferry, Roger Daltrey, Keef Richard, Keith Emerson, Dave Mattacks, Leo Sayer, Adam Faith, Billy Idol, Ashley Hutchins, Helen McCookerybook, Ray Burns, Robert Smith all live or have lived there.
