Not sure if converting religions was the cause but a buring rubbery smell or perfume is known to be associated with something trying to manifest itself . If you have any deceased relatives that may be against you doing it , they could be trying to contact you , so that could be a possibility . If you smelt it in your car also , then its a good chance . This may sound a little off , but if it smells like burning popcorn , depending on your age , that is linked to strokes .
Well thank you all for responding. And as for seeking medical attention, I'm not so sure that I need it but just to be on the safe side, I'll definitely consider it. I really haven't smelt that scent or sensed anything similar to it recently, and it was just only that day. I'm at the age of (21), fairly young, and I don't know or hold any record of any health problems (at least not yet) and it definitely doesn't indicate however that I couldn't have developed health complications right now that I'm not aware of.
As for the scent or what kind of smell it was like , it smelt a lot like burnt batteries (?) Does any one know what I'm talking about here? Or do I just sound really off already... Well, it was that same smell and I remembered clearly thinking to myself that it smelt like burnt batteries.
TRPS-TECH1: I caught on to your response quickly. You see, I was born into a Daoist/Taoist family. And as we know, Taoism is considered to be one of the most mystical and or mysterious forms of religion(s) in this world. The religion highly consists of worshiping our ancestors, making offerings and ceremonies to our ancestors (so that they will be able to obtain the same things or other things they couldn't have in their previous life). It occurred to me several times that perhaps the gods or my "ancestors" are trying to reach to me and are most likely saddened, hurt, or offended that I am changing my ways of faith (I will no longer praise them). But as a Christian, its almost condemned to believe in such things, it seems.
