I've seen this excellent video. It demonstrates the arrogance of the Bush administration. They rely on the ignorance and indifference of most Americans.

I had been a few days at sea on a yacht, when I moored the yacht up and went ashore, I saw the twin towers falling down in a pub TV and thought it were a movie. It was then conveyed to me that this was in fact the real thing. I was with my crew at the pub at the time, they were as shocked as I was. Within seconds I suggested to my crew that this would have been the work of Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan who is hidden in a network of caves and that previously Clinton had ordered cruise missiles to be directed at these caves but that the cruise missile attack was unsuccessful and that this attack on the twin towers were for reprisals.

Now if I'm not so terribly up on the news and not particularly bright, how come it seemed obvious to me?

Some time later after the invasion of Afghanistan we heard all the bull about Iraq, which in my opinion could quite easily have been simply contained despite what Bush said in the clip. I remember talking to my father on the phone saying that Bush and Blair were intent on invading Iraq no matter what. It was assumed that there must surely be an end game after the invasion and a plan. To my astonishment there never was. Considering I was always at the bottom of my class at school even in the lower stream it does make my wonder about the wisdom of those in charge?

I maybe think I'm not too bright, but these people cant answer some of the most basic and simple questions without getting themselves stuck in doodoo. Where did these people receive their education?

Surely, Isn't lying and deceiving a nation is treasonable?

There are all sorts of conspiracy theories about the twin towers and the involvement of government secret services etc but surely by making up the conspiracy theories is only giving credit to people who are simply not clever enough to have the gumption to think up anything more complicated than playing snakes and ladders.

funny, most people that I know were suspicious when they saw the first tower collapse in a way just like a controlled demolition would cause, they said "That's very strange, it looks too easy", then when the SECOND collapse happened the same way, they were immediately saying out loud "That looks like it was rigged - it collapsed the same way, twice the same way, that's very suspicious", then when the news came out about WTC 7 and people saw what was OBVIOUSLY a controlled demolition, they said, "Now that was definitely a controlled demolition, this whole thing is a set-up", then when it came out much later about the cellphone calls from passenger jets, everyone said, "Those calls have to be fake, it's too convenient, and they're impossible".

Strange how so many people can recognise lies immediately, isn't it? Even the reporters that day were saying that those collapses looked like controlled demolitions.

Do you remember all those reports of explosions? I do. Didn't you even think, even once, "Hang on , how could those Arabs plant so many bombs in the buildings without anyone knowing...this is suspicious, this has to be an inside job".

Where I was working at the time, EVERYONE thought the whole thing looked fishy. I mean that literally - EVERYONE in the entire office recognised how suspicious it all was.

I am glad they lied. When American lives are in danger, lying is sometimes the only way to protect them. I know I sleep better at night knowing somewhere there is a mother proving her breast milk isn't a deadly weapon to some dim-witted airport security thug, by having to drink it. I feel safer knowing that their lies have given us an endless war that we can use as an excuss to put a yellow-ribben magnets on our cars to feel all patriotic about. I mean wtf?? I am not a fan of Clinton, yet I find it interesting that he was impeached for lying about a BJ, however this entire administration lied about something that has cost thousands of lives and billions of dollars and whores like Pelosi "take impeachment off the table". Anyone who thinks things are going to change after the elections is in for a suprise.

Clinton lied underoath and it was proven. Bush IF he lied did not do it in court and it has not been proven. Even if he lied to the American people and to congress, he didnt do it underoath and nothing has been proven. Nothing that can actually stand up in court.
Clinton was an idiot. Thats why he got caught. He was too arrogant. Bush may seem like a moron to the Daily Show generation but if he's really that dumb why hasnt charges been filed and solid proof been produced. Proof that could lead to an Impeachment?
I'll tell you why. He has done either nothing wrong or he has been very smart, smarter than people give him credit for and planned this all very carefully.
