Have you updates all drivers including graphics and have you got the latest version of directX.

Are you by any chance using rivatuner.

Also I noticed you have added new ram in your machine on another thread.

Try taking out the new ram and trying again. I noticed the ram is not all the same so maybe that is causing it to crash.
Blueguardian
it was crashing before i got the new ram, i thought it might help the problem, im not using rivatuner, i have no idea what it its, i'll doo all the updates on the graphics cards and and see if the dierect x is updated, thankyou

Hey, I only played for a while but I think I recall this exact problem.
If memory serves, I fixed by disabling the VOIP box in the Options. Obviously this isn't a great solution if you want to use VOIP,but I was using Vent with my mates so it didn't matter.

Let us know if it works.

Cheers.

Blueguardian
hey thankyou i'll give that a go, i dont use the voip thingy, it kinda annoys me toan extent, half the time i get complaints about how they want supply drops because they are taking fire, there not the only ones taking fire lol, and that why im learning to be a better commander.
maggotx13

Blueguardian
i tried all of the above except for your comment maggotx13 which i shall try hopefully tomorrow. so far iv had no luck, looks like the fate of many online respawning people rests in your hands.
Blueguardian
great news everyone it seems to be working, grin2.gif, but i may have to come up with another solution in the future.

Try turning off hardware sound if you have it enabled (leave EAX on though), this is usually a better choice for notebooks since it's using software emulated audio for the onboard chip, but using EAX it's actually running in hardware mode.

*shrugs* they wrote the game really strange, but whatever. Also set the audio to Medium or High, they sound the same, but you won't get as many sounds at once with the lower.

The last bit, make sure you are @ 60-75hz refresh, the game is really picky. Make sure you aren't overclocking your video (atleast long enough to see if that is a problem).
