There's also a Ghost in the Shell series callled Ghost in the Shell -Stand alone complex. Know if the movie is based on that, or if its the sequal to the original movie? From what I can get to work of the trailer (the irst 20 secs), looks like similar animantion to the original, just without the main heroine.
Personally though I'd rather they make another Evangelion movie, this time with a ending with a happy ending.

Oh you're right I was really disappointed by the end of Evangelion...especially the 3 minutes scene without moving in the elevator...

I was watching Eva a few days back and noted a scene I had missed before, where Misato remarks that with 4 angels (the forth was still intact at the time) Nerv could take over the world. Looking at the movie I would have enjoyed if instead of attempted to committe total geniocide to 'enhance' the species, Seele had attempted Misato's fear of attempting to take over the world with the mass produced Evas.
Then again, that would have been less controvercial the ending they did choose. I suppose to get the end you have to look at both the movie and the series ending, where the last ep where its showing Shinji's ideal world were anything his wishes happens is the same thing that happens to everyone absorbed into Rei... but personally I still don't quite get Eva, just kinda wish it had stayed with the giant mecha fight alien idea of the first half of the series, rather than turn into a psychological depression filled metephor for the bible.
That said, Asuka's battle with the mass produced Eva's was awesome.

UK show a Japanese movie in the cinema which doesn't have the pokemon title in it? Can't see it happening, Spirited Away only got into the Uk cinema's because it was big in the US and nominated for a golden Globe. A pitty, because a lot of anime movies would look fantastic on the big screne.
