In the religion forum, I was informed that it was laughable that I am an atheist. That it is so obvious that there is a god, and it would be so easy to prove it. They however refused to do so. So here is your chance theists, prove there is a god.

Why is it that no one is coming? Do you perhaps, have no proof?

I don't think it is laughable, I think it is understandable, Maybe you are from one Of the other universes , just finishing up an incarnation from another world or one which was destroyed, or Maybe you are not meant to know God the father. There are many reasons why you do not believe in God, I will not Judge them, But I will say that God loves you, even if you don't love God, or know who Father and Mother are, I say it is under standable.

Some dont believe in Father (God) simply because they have not recieved the love down here in the physical, that they Think they deserve, which I will blame those who raised you and those around you, but not you, you are just a product of the love society has created, and this society Is man made. God gave Us love unconditional , what we do with it, we are accountable for, and if You do not Love God so be it.

You can always change your mind Later when you become full consciousness again, for the spirit is eternal, or After this life, you can continue to not believe in God, Because God Forces God's love on No one.

No I think I cleard that up a couple posts ago, however there are Some sick parents who do terrible things to kids which would make a child of God wonder if there was a God , or if God hated them, I say it could be anything, mostly the way society shares Father , and Mother's (God's)Unconditional love. Given the complexity of existence and the fact that we as humans can only intellectually comprehend our universe. Which does not include infinity of space and time. I would say the probability of some intelligent creator could be.

The difference is that I do not feel like any "holy books" contain any information on this creator. If there is such a creator he would have been logical(and also more than intellect). Meaning no heaven or hell. He would also leave us to discovery his universe. So this should most probably be our salvation. Discover the universe.

Also if there is such a creator the universe would have been made by his only point of reference- himself and by discovering the universe we discover god.

Then if there is no higher intelligence then matter is our god for it never had a beginning and never had and end.

No I believe The child Knows Father and Mother (God) Much closer than they do the parents they are born in to, and are taught another version of who and what God is, from what they knew coming in to the world.

I just said there are many reasons why you might not have Found God, or believe, and it is understandable.

The existence of God is a posibility that should never be ignored, but the fact is that this does not provide proof of his existence or his actions and so remains as a belief, and nothing more than that.

Belief in God is based on faith, to prove it to be fact you need evidence, with this evidence you'll provide fact, with fact you will find reality.

So so far we have three different arguments
1. "I don't understand how this can be, therefor god did it."
2. "I have a personal relationship with god and he tells me that he exists."
3. "Look at that fine ass, such beauty must mean god exists."

Neither of those are proof. The first is just a way to avoid saying "I don't know" and looking for the answers. The second is just a ticket to a shrink. The third is a joke I suppose, but still it just goes to say what we find pretty and not what beauty is.

When nothing short of scientific answers will satisfy, it is a little useless when the question is not a scientific one. I don't know what "proof" is being sought, but it sounds like some kind of physical, tangible evidence that would be obvious to everyone. When God is a spiritual/supernatural entity, how can one prove that using physical means?

One can't. And so there's no reason to believe. We have no evidence of anything supernatural existing. Nor do we need any to explain anything in what we see around us. God explains nothing and there's no evidence for his existence so there's no reason to believe.

PS.. Who are you who are so wise in the ways of science?

^I do disagree - I have had..... experiences, that one could class as spiritual. I have not had a specific conversation with God, but there have been a couple of events in my life that have convinced me of the existence of God. However, these experiences are only proof to me, they will not convince anyone else. I can tell you these experiences, but they will not mean anything unless you were there.

The whole argument of "give me proof that god exists" is just stupid.

I've tried lying at night in my bed looking at the stars and then I felt like I was floating towards them. It was really amazing but it wasn't anything but a trick of the mind. That doesn't make it anything less to me, I still think it was great. If you want to see your personal experience as proof of god, then how did it convince you of exactly the god you believe in (assuming here you believe in one of the many religions and not just have your own)? It good that you know it can only convince yourself.

I bet most on this board have seen true miracles , unexplainable Phoenomena, which they just chalked up to Coincidence, Or chance , or whatever. These Miracles Have a shelf life of about 6 mos, IMO.

I have Recieved so many, that I lost count, but then Iam always asking for them Recieving themAnd thanking God for Them, But then I look at them as From Father and Mother (God) Not as coincidence, I could see how one who looked at everything as chance or coincidence Might think there is no divine Help.

Well no wonder you think you've recieved so many miracles. I accept the reality of a situation, but you quickly (apparently without reason) put every day occurences down to a god on a whim. Nuclear weapons have not been used because of human management. Unless you're about to say that a god has manipulated the minds of the individuals who bear the responsibility of nuclear weapons, there's no miracle here.

But I have to point out that it's funny how when a child starves to death "god works in mysterious ways", but when you have a little stroke of luck god did it.

When I pray for an outcome, and It hapens with out much effort on my part I atribut it To Father , and Many times Father helps me when Just doing every da things But not everything Is a miracle, I know this but some people believe nothing is a miracle from God, Glass Half empty.

When a starving child, I do not say God works in Mysterious ways I say Look Man is letting his brother starve to death, How sad, and after The child is dead, I say look The childs spirit is in Heaven How nice, its Getting all the love It should have had while on earth, AMen.

That's a good question, Demian. And the answer is that my experiences didn't convince me that the Christian God exists. They only convinced me that "God" exists, a personal God who takes an active role in his creation. And after reading the Bible I came to believe that this God who had proved itself to me was indeed the God described in the Bible. So far in the 8 years since I became a Christian, I have not found anything within or without the Bible to change that belief.

So basically, if a miracle happens, you give the credit to God. But if someone is suffering, you blame humans. I don't quite see the logic here or maybe I'm just interpreting your posts in the wrong way.

This one here is a real prize... all evidence supports my beliefs. All evidence contradicts yours... but ya, I get to enjoy the laughter.

If I did not have the money to feed that child, and all of a sudden found some on the ground, I would considder that a Miracle, because it was my prayer to helpthat child, with no means, God has facilitated that for me, when I see people with the means walk over that child of God , his brother , calling him Names Like Bum , Beggar , Adict, I Blame Man in his callous nature to love and nurture His brother, because there is no Death, Father (God) is the savior Loving the poor spirit that we walked On, after the body is gone.

Would you ask God to do something That you would not, even if you could, then blame God after not doing what you asked God to do?

Iam secure in what I believe, And the freewill To take accountability for the way I love and see God, and God's help twards God's children. Prayer and intention Get Gods atention, asking For help, gets results For me anyway, it is a symbiotic relationship, I help God because I love God unconditionally, and God helps me Because God (Father and Mother) Love Me unconditionally.

We are here to learn the difference, and experience our eternal spirit, God sets up lessons which we wanted to learn from, or you could Believe its Half empty , and think it is all randome, and coincidence, if you believed in God, you would know that starving child was in a better place, and God saved it after Maybe going through the experience IThe Child and Father decited On before incarnating, Having nothing to do with You, unless you saw and did nothing.

I have read parts of the Koran, Bhagavad-gita, and book of Mormon. Not in great detail, but I have read them in parts. I have also extensively studied the beliefs of other religions, and while I have not familiarised myself with their holy scriptures in the way I know the Bible, I have read enough of their worldview to know what they believe, and what they believe contradicts my own experiences of God.

How bout you prove that god doesn't exist? Not easy is it?

At least you have read up on it after you came to believe. I respect that.
