I'm inclined to believe that there is merit to his claims. The most astounding thing in my mind is the fact that different peoples had the same notions without contact with one another.
Hhow can this be explained?
By the way Chronic Samurai, we're talking about a particualr poster who is very keen on this subject. I agree with most of what he says about the topic but I'm not sure how it ties into our world today.
People through history have made up similar tales and have made the same discoveries all the time!
How is making up some supposed godly creature with wings any different?
It's compelling to read that some people state that the belief in these mythical beasts came before people finding
dinosaur bones! I find this to be a bit ridiculous.
1. Ancients were always pondering their existance.
2. They found dinosaur bones, could not explain them in any other way, but thinking of them as some type of god being.
3. Dinosaur bones can basically be found everywhere! There is your other culteres/civilizations drawing the same conclusions.
This is not to hard to accept, and it's rather simple to understand how these ancient people would see these bones as some godly serpent.
