Can you help me? Near Ugljevik (small town in Bosnia) there is (I think medival) graveyard. On headstones there is very interesting symbols. I saw maltesse crosses on some of them. But one symbol was interesting. I never saw something like that symbol. It looks like maltesse cross?
This is that symbol:linked-image

If you are interested to see this graveyard you can see that here:

To be honest, I have no idea, but it seems familiar, maybe a variation of the Cross Patee/Iron cross?
TheBlueDragon
To me it looks like a different version of the maltesse cross.

looks like a snowflake, lolz...
saw a little of the video, uha, strange symbols all around, strange graveyard an all, we've had strange symbols all through out history, some of importance others nothing more than a symbol, this may turn out just to be as such but then again it could have a deeper meaning, perhaps an ancient tribes symbol? a representation of the sun? there are multiple solutions to the strange symbols and markings we find... i just hope your search doesn't end in vain...
sorry i could'nt directly provide you with any information though, good luck...

These most likely are early Bosnian Christian graves of the Bogomils. The Bogomils were an early heretical sect who if I recall believed in dualism. That there was a good God who created the human soul, and an evil god who made the human body and trapped the human soul within. It was a person's job in this world to try to live a good life, and work to reunite with the good God when one died. Some think the Cathars who were mainly in Southern France and Northern Italy had some connection to the Bogomils. It is known a Bogomil bishop visited the Cathars in I think France.Wiklepedia and other sources have information on the Bogomils and Cathars.

First of all, I wanna thank all of you for your help. I do some research on this subject and I find some interesting things.
I know about Bogomils and their graveyard (called Stecci)... Maybe those realy are stecci. In Bosnia there are a lots of them on every step. Even near my home there are two of them. But I think that stecci are different shape, size, sarcofage look like etc. everything that makes stecci unique in the world. You will see the difference...

You can notice the difference...

If you watch movie that I give a link for you will notice a lots of maltese crosses as a symbol on a headstones... even this strange symbol that I show you here look like some version of maltese cross. Isn't that? I am not shure but I think that MALTESE CROSS is symbol that use KNIGHTS TEMPLAR...
Stop the video at 01:40 and 02:14 and you will strange cross wich in heraldic have name called "Cross of Lorraine". Again that cross is symbol that use KNIGHTS TEMPLAR...
On 02:56 you will notice circle and cross within. In heraldic called "Sun Cross". One of the oldest crosses, and Celtic cross is variaty of this cross.
Pagan symbols on 02:00 and 02:19(rune or "Y" cross)...

But most strange thing is that I never find some archeological and historical fact about this graveyard in the books...

The knights Templar, along with the Teutonic Knights, and the Knights of the Hospitalier, all used a variation of the Cross Patee, each group had its own little variation, if i remember right, the Templars had a red cross on white robes, Teutonic knights had a black cross on white robes (they were a German order, guess where the Iron cross the Nazis used comes from?)
