ok just wanna gather some opinions on this..........

one night my fiance sat up in bed and asked "who the hell is that?"
i asked him what he meant and he said that for a brief moment he thought he saw a man in the hallway.
the spooky thing is prior to him saying tha,t i was alone one night whilst he was out with his friends,
and i was dozing in the bedroom when i woke up and saw someone out of the corner of my eye also in the hallway,
thinking it was my fiance i got up out of bed and went through to the other room but there was nobody there,
or in any other room of the flat. i never told him this because i didnt think anymore of this until he said that.
since then objects have been moved in the hallway without anyone being there,also my bag was slid into the living room
without anybody near it. i told my fiance but he thinks it was our pet cat that somehow moved it. im not convinced.
he has also woke up in the night after some kind of outer body experience saying he saw a man in a white dressing gown
in the hallway and a man with a surgeons mask sitting in his chair in the living room.
i dont know what to make of all this as i'm normally not taken in by this sort of thing yet i cant stop thinking about it.

so if anybody has any thoughts or theories on this please discuss.

ps as for my fiance having an OBE, we now only believe this is what it was after speaking to other members of U-M,
....but i welcome all thoughts or ideas.

Do you know anything about the history of your flat? any deaths or something??

unfortunately not no. dont get on very well with the landlord so am not inclined to ask him anything.
it used to be part of a warehouse and then got turned into offices before being converted into flats.
that is all i know

That would seriously give me the chills.

Just to wake up in the middle of the night and see the shape of a figure staring at you.

yeah it really unsettled my fiance too. it just seems strange that alot of these incidents have
been to do with our hallway but no where else in the flat.

Hmm.

Possibly a haunting, indicating a repetition of events from the building's past - an echo, if you like. You might try research into what happened there.

Possibly a manifestation of an entity. Whatever it is has become interested in your place and you two. Try speaking to it and asking it questions when it happens next time. Doesn't sound too threatening.

Sounds also like the early stages of some abduction accounts - figures seen in the house wearing strange clothes, then they are not there; objects moved. Some of these pre-abduction experiences reports seem like poltergeist activity. (This is just my mind thinking around the subject, don't get scared...)

i was also thinking along the lines of it maybe being a spirit guide as all of my fiances
encounters with this being have been when he has experienced what we believe to be an OBE.

Well I know a little about entities, but not much about out-of-body experiences.

Maybe something is attracted to him when he's in that state.

A spirit guide would not have to wait for that body state to get in contact. And typically, a guide will be friendly and more forthcoming than what you have described.

I would advise caution here, but definitely look into things.

I believe you because I have seen things like this myself.Mine was aso of a man who walked right by me in a house that I had been told had a similar sightning. Good luck and keep an open mind when dealing with the spirits.

ok....so i did a little research and it turns even more freaky now.

my neighbour told me that murders had been comitted here and told me to google bathtub murders in herne bay.
and straight at the top of the page a wiki article on the killer...and guess what...it was in my flat!!!

ok so im really spooked now so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions or any comments at all please reply.

Have you thought contact a medium to see what the hell the bloke wants?
Most likely he does not know he has passed over and trapped between two worlds.

The man in question must be here for some reason, unfortunately I do not know what that is.
Can you tell if there have been any other things happen and if any type of aggression has been directed toward you or your partner?
If there has been no aggression then I would not worry to much it may just be a residual haunting which although it is off putting will not cause any harm and you will get used to it, if however it ever starts to turn violent then you will have to get something done about it either through a medium or a priest.

no real violence but there is a sense of malevolence around the flat. my fiance believes that it may be triggering his obe's as most of the time
he is experiencing another energy wrestling with his own....

No offence - I'm just thinking aloud - but this sounds like the start of a haunting blog in 'real' time.

It doesn't seem that it is bothered by you being there, or vice versa . Since you know the history of the flats and what happened there , I would try contacting a medium or maybe just try contacting it personally . A lot of times when you make contact with an entity , the activity stops . It's almost like they just want to be recognized .

i suppose i could try a medium however i dont really have a lot of faith in mediums or things of that nature.
the same way im not totally convinced that this is a ghost if you catch my drift.
despite these occurances, added to my new knowledge of what happened here, my rational mind is having a hard time
accepting that my flat could really be haunted.

also who is louise paxton? lol sorry if thats a dumb question...

If your in doubt, invest in a video camera, or a security camera system. Post the cameras in the hallway, and leave objects out that can be moved. Take note each night before you go to bed the exact location of every object in the hallway, or even mark it with a piece of tape. Record on the camera every night. When you get up in the morning, and something has moved, then you will have it on camera, and be able to see exactly what happened. Your best best would be IR night vision cameras.
