With an attitude like that I am surprised you get any answers back!
You have missed the entire point of the thread completely and because of your rudeness I will decline to explain it to you.

He's not being rude Irish, he simply doesn't understand how people with certain religious beliefs think and why people feel the need to publicly display their religion to everyone.

There is a big differance between rudeness and having a different perspective on life. Kind to one is rude to another.

Sheri many on these boards are growing tired of your passive aggressive trolling. It seems you are always on the side lines when conflicts arise fanning the flames. If it’s none of your business keep your nose and opinion out of it. disgust.gif

After reading your responses to previous queries posted to you I'm not disappointed.

Despite my phraseology I meant no disrespect towards you or your belief. However, I find your stance as "the majority" somewhat intimidating and insulting. Just because you believe in rituals and symbolism does not mean that I or anyone else should be inundated with them. Personally, I don't care about any symbolism, just as long as it's definitely removed from government issues.

What I'm commenting on is that your views suggest to me a superiority of sorts simply because you consider yourself in a majority. Well the majority be damned. I am an individual and I choose what I do and do not wish to believe in, and if if I find your symbolism offensive in any way then I have the right to say so. And unless you have the power to invoke your god to strike me dead then my word holds as much meaning as yours.

No my friend, I have not missed the point of your post. You are saying in essence "to what point must we, the majority, tolerate the insignificant demands of the minority."

News flash! We are all supposed to be equal. Does not your bible tell you this?

Again, no disrespect intended.
