Okay, Now ive read many topics on this. But everyone is trying to say you scratch yourself when you sleep sometimes. True, but this is weird. I woke up 5:00AM to burning sensation on my back and to my annoying alarm clock. Headed off the shower no thought about it. Got out and was burning worse! Took a look in the mirrior and there it was a nice 7 inch scratch or so on my right side of my rib cage. Didnt think anything of it got dressed headed off to the bus stop. There i showed my friends and sister the long scratch down my side and asked them if there was on my back nope. So second block comes in school and im sitting there and my back begins to burn really bad. So i explained to my friend how i thought i got that scratch by saying I dont know haha. Well any ways im sitting there back is burning i raise my hand ask my teacher if i can use the bathroom. Im in there i pull my back of my shirt up and there are tons of new Freshly made scratches. They wasnt bleeding, just really red long and burning. I freaked out ran to the class grabbed my bag headed to the office checked out.
When i got home i researched it what it could be. I found this website, and it explained greatly to me. But i wasnt sure what exactly it could be still? Im kind of scared because this is the first time they have ever appeared. Im not allergic to anything, and my daily activities was the same. So i cant think of anything and they appeard during school hours i wasn't sleeping so i know i did NOT scratch my self.
Here are some images, sorry about the low quality of them but oh well:

So please tell me what you may think it is or what it probably is.
Thanks a lot! =]

It could be possible that is a very angry poltergeist. I would keep a eye out for any sounds or unusual sequences of events that normally would not occur. I heard stepping on my basement stairs, does that make it a ghost? Not automatically, no. But I do not really have a explanation for you, sorry.

Do you have a cat? When I get scratched by a cat I swell and it looks exactly like that. You probably thought of that already, but it was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the pictures. Could there be a tiny sharp piece of something inside your shirt or jacket that scratched you? Its always best to think of all the possibilities before assuming its paranormal. Keep us updated if you get anymore scratches.
Take care.

It had a very intense burn in 2nd block, and now the burn has rather died down.
So it feels better.
I should be alright.

Where my bed is its cold rest of room warm.
Uhmm thats about all ive experienced. Except when i was a child
i had my leg jerked on in this house.

well , it looks to me like there may be some sort of design or symbol , but that could just be the angle of the photo . If the scratches were not done by you , then check your bed or jacket for something sharp . If the scratches continue to happen , I would have someone check it out . But hopefully they stop . If you can post some pics of the scratches straight on and post them, it really looks like it could be some sort of design .

I have heard of this before, and what I suggest is to see a Dermatologist, to rule out any kind of allery or anything of that nature. They can culture it and see what if any bacterial or virus causing it. If they dont have an answer, they can at least offer you some medicine to reduce it. If all else fails, it "could" be paranormal in nature but if I were you, I would rule out a skin condition first..JN
EDIT.. A few of them look like bites from some kind of bug, so please check it out ok?

but 25 scratches?
And i never got bit by a bug in my room
and i dont think a bug could explain 25 scratches about 5 inches to 7 inch long scratches.

you really should have it medicaly checked.
where it is located would make it very difficult to do to yourself. unless you are rubbing against something. it could be a small piece of metal or glass in your jacket that you can't see but is sharp enough to scratch.

I was actually going to say I thought it resembled an "anarchist A". But I am going to take your word for it that it is a mystery to you. I have seen several scratching cases. They all had to vacate the property to get it to stop. But your case is unusual, in as much, you are being scratched in public away from your home. I have not seen this before. It seems you have no where to run, so I will attempt to view this with even more import.
First, the usual questions...
Have you checked your bed for a spring that only pertrudes when there is weight on the mattress?
Do you wear an under shirt? And if so, do you sleep in the same shirt?
Allergies can start. So how do you know you aren't allergic to anything?
Do you sleep alone?
Are there any other odd occurrences at your house?
There are tiny mites like bed bugs that will leave long trails of welts that resemble raised scratches. Have you tried fresh sheets?
Have you checked your shirt thoroughly for foreign sharp objects or fragments?
Sorry, but we have to start somewhere if you are to be taken seriously. If it can scratch you, it can do other things too. Be prepared. Keep us advised. Thanks. ~Jackal

If you do have a haunting it sounds like you are sleeping on top of someone. If you got a cold spot on your bed there is a ghost sleeping there too. Thats a creepy thought..heh
Like others said though, it might not be paranormal.

Got a Non-Spring mattress.
Do you wear an under shirt? And if so, do you sleep in the same shirt?
Nope, and nope every morning hop in shower put on new shirt.
Allergies can start. So how do you know you aren't allergic to anything?
Cause ive been doing these daily activities since ive hit high school and nothing like this has occurred.
And if im allergic to something i get little red bumps on my arms and bendryl usually solves that problem except they itch they dont burn like these on my back which are scratches.
Do you sleep alone?
Indeed i do.
Are there any other odd occurrences at your house?
Uhm light flickering very lightly in my room here and there, water breaker shuts off some times could just be a house problem though. Uhm Had my legged grabbed when i was a child in this house and yanked on. But not really a lot has happend.

Im rolled up in a blanket when i sleep. But i dont know maby, ill try some fresh sheets but i dont think i want to sleep in my room again.
Have you checked your shirt thoroughly for foreign sharp objects or fragments?
Yes, when i felt the burning i ran to bathroom, looked ran back to class showed my teacher she thought something was in my shirt she checked nothing.

the most disturbingly is the fact that its quite difficult to reach that part of the back, and scratching it in those angles would be even harder, they also don't seem to be a scratch that you or someone or something else has scratched in the same place over and over again, there doesn't seem t be any other scratches other then the main ones, which look like they have been don't one by one with quite good precision

Oh and one last thing about this question:
There are tiny mites like bed bugs that will leave long trails of welts that resemble raised scratches. Have you tried fresh sheets?
Even if there was, that would explain the one long scratch when i woke up. But then i hopped in shower so they would have washed off me the mites. Which i doubt a mite is going to make 25 scratches in all different directions long ones to.
Plus i am not in bed when im at school, so there for it wasnt dust mites at school that did it to me.

When I first saw the pics , the first thing I notice was the symbol . As I posted before rule out any possibilities first . Now that you have pretty much done that , you can start looking for the other option . You mentioned that your room is colder than the other , that is linked to paranormal activty . As for the scratches , I still think they look like some sort of pentogram . I missed a few posts but has there been any other activity in your room ? I'm a member of a team and have ties to other investigators and demonologists. Just trying to figure out details about your experiences , and if it continues , ( and you have proof ) I could get ahold of them and see what we come up with . But that would be your decision .

Put some holy water on your head and see if you react to it at all. I watched A Haunting today and a kid was getting scratched and they ended up having an exorcism done to him. The five pointed star isn't necessarily evil, as I have stated before it can mean something as simple as distraction.

I saw that too on A Haunting, it was good. The fact the OP isnt enduring a true haunting, I dont know if that is causing his scratches. Its known to happen during a Demonic, or Malevolent haunting. I truly wish he would see a Dermatologist, before leaning toward the paranormal..JMO...JN
