One sunday morning I was at work as an waiter(part time only) and only to see the clock moving slowly at 1pm. I thought to myself today going to be a very LONG day. Then something happened that had my in question about what happened in past hour because its now 2'o clock. I was holding some drinks for customer and I looked up in the clock and I wondered to myself what happened? The only thing I remember was looking at the clock at 1PM...
Somebody answer my question please because it might help me with a lot of experiences.
Thank you,

Occasionally losing track of time, especially when bored, tired, distracted, or just diverted, is part of the human condition. When you go on to say

what did you mean?

If you meant that these occasions "add up" over the years, then that's normal. If, however, you meant that you are regularly losing track of time, or doing so more frequently lately than has been usual for you, then that may be worth checking out with a health care professional.

Good luck with this.

Maybe the clock had worn out batteries so someone changed them real quick and adjusted the time right?

Did the customer complain that you didn't bring his/her drinks for over an hour? I bet that affected your tip.

Well as the old saying goes " time fly's when your having fun" but since you were at work that might not apply. However when I'm at work no matter if it's "good" day or a bad day, when your really busy time does go by faster well it seems that way. You must have been busy and just never thought of what time it was.

It sure happened to me.. but not just one hour.. I think that was a year ago.. during summer ( march or april, forgot )
I looked at my wrist watch and it was 2:10pm, and I looked at the Wildlife: Fact-File under the table 6 steps away from me.. and stared at it.. trying to remember stuffs about animals. and then I looked at my wrist watch again.. and got surprised when I saw it was already 4:45pm and I was like.. blink.gif What happened..
nonetheless it was a cool but strange experience.

Two possible medical causes.
a.Petite mal epileptic seizure.
You remain semi conscious, but lose connection with the world around you.

b. Type of ministroke which causes amnesia. This can block out short to long periods of time. While the lost memories usually come back, the period of time around the attack may be lost permanently.

Get a full medical check up, including scans, particularly if this happens again.
