Today, i had a very frightening dream.

First, i want to tell you a bit about myself;

I'm 16 year's old from Israel, and i've had several 'mystic' experiences in my life. The first one happened when i was about 12 year's old, my sisters were staying at their grandma, and my mom and dad were going to stay at a friends house, so i was all alone in my house. When i fell asleep, i've suddenly felt 'differently', and when i would wake up, i would know that this dream was not just a dream, but something different. In my 'dream', i was flying above the building i was staying in, and it felt very real, i could feel the wind blowing on my face, and could feel gravity trying to pull me down more and more, as i went higher. And that's all what i remember. When i woke up, i've had very long and deep scratch marks on my back, about 1/2 a CM deep, and covering all my lower back. And what's even stranger, when i woke up there was no blood at all, not on my back, not on the sheets, not on the walls, not on the floor, not anywhere. The scars were so deep, that even now, 4 years later, i still have very visible scars, and probably will have them for the rest of my life.

And now to the dream i've had last night;

I remember that the dream started pretty much like most of my dreams, slightly blur and somewhat 'unrealistic', but i also had a feeling that someone was watching me(As if you were walking down a street, you could feel someone watching you, you turn around and there's someone walking behind you, that kind of feeling.). After a while, the dream changed; I was walking up a street(a street that i sometimes walk in in real life), when that feeling of being watched become more intense, and i, calmly, looked to my left, and see a black woman, wearing short jeans, and with very big black eyes, the way it seemed in the dream, from my distance from her, was if each of her black eyes were about a quarter of her face, and she was simply staring at me. Right now, i wasn't frightened or anything, and i just looked away and kept walking. The dream changed into something else(the feeling of being watched is still there), and then changed of me walking yet another street, a different one(One that i also use frequently in real life). I was walking up to a crossroads, turning right and walking a bit, and then i felt something in me being 'pulled'(i can't really describe the feeling, but it was as if i was somehow pulled mentally), i look to my left, and i see the same woman, with the very big black eyes, staring at me. I look away, and try to keep walking, when suddenly i'm almost overcome by an extremely intense feeling of fear, fear so intense that i've only felt it once or twice in my whole life. And i quickly turn my head to the woman with the black eyes, and hiss towards her(like a cat hisses when i feels threatened). At the moment i hiss at her, her head drops to her chest, as if her neck is too tired to hold it straight, and she collapses. As she falls to the ground, i suddenly see an image of another black woman with big black eyes, this one seems more mature, and is wearing a typical ethiopic clothing, that elderly ethiopic women wear. Then the image disappears, and i awake. I awake completely conscious, and with the same overwhelming fear, and even as i explain to myself that it's alright, and that there's people 10 meters away from me, i still cannot get that fear away(which is very strange, because usually once i wake up from a frightening dream, i calm down pretty quickly.), and only about an hour later, which to me seemed like 5 minutes, i managed to calm myself enough to get back to sleep. During this night another strange thing occurred, after this dream, when i managed to get back to sleep, i suddenly felt huge pressure all over my body, and when i woke up(in the dream, i think)i've seen this huge shadowy black presence sitting over my chest. I woke up again, filled with that same fear, and was close to tears. Afterwards, i went back to sleep again, and nothing extraordinary happened.

As a side note, over the past 4 or so years, the city was constructing residential buildings about 1 k/m north of where i live. Those buildings were constructed mainly for all the ethiopian immigrants that are arriving to my city.

Were their eyes ALL black, ie. NO whites in them at all? Or were they like normal eyes, but black where there should be another color like blue or brown?
Denisius
Both of their eyes were completely black, without any white. Also, I've done some reading, and it seems as if people have met these 'things', but in real life, and not in a dream. They also seem to experience an overwhelming feeling of fear.

Black Eyed Kids (BEKS) is the term they are using these days, there isn't any evidence to support them being real, except for peoples accounts, but i think there is defiantly something going on, the reports on them are random, some think they are people possessed demons, others vampires and some also think aliens. I think possessed people, then again who knows.

Denisius.. Yes.. Some have claimed to have seen them in real life, while some also have claimed to have dreamed of them. I've been extensively researching BEKs or BEPs (black eyed people, since not all of them were said to have appeared in "child form"). Your post had piqued my curiosity. Had you read anything about BEKs/BEPs before you had the dream? I'm not saying I doubt your dream, I'm just wondering if maybe reading of them may have made you dream of them. The BEK/BEP topic is extremely interesting to me.

Denisius
I've came across some stories about them when i was just reading up paranormal stories, but they were just one story among dozens i've read, and it was quite a while before my dream. I've only remembered about them when i searched 'black eyes' in google, and came across some stories about them. I highly doubt that my dream was influenced by those stories, although it is possible.

Do you mind telling me a little more about them?

Bad thing.

Mind giving a more detailed response?

sounds like 'succubus' stories..?
Denisius
A succubus 'story'?
Have you even read it?

People, i ask you to only post if you have something usefull to add, don't post just for the sake of it.

My ex-girlfriend saw a very similar thing, but not in a dream.

She was walking back home after meeting up with me at my place. It was about 10:30 at night when she left. She told me that she had gotten lost after she took a wrong turn off my street and decided to call her parents. Whilst waiting for them to come pick her up, she said she noticed a young girl on the other side of the road, staring at her. She said she ignored her at first, but then she started striding across the road to her. Quite scared she yelled at the girl to stop being a creep, but got no reply. The girl then opened her eyes which were empty. That is, there were no eyes, just black holes. She ran from the freaky girl screaming, and thats when her parents came. She told them the whole story, and they called me to ask if we had been doing drugs at my place, I said No and we really hadn't. I don't know what she saw, but its probably perfectly explainable, just like your tale. I dunno, maybe they're related somehow.

@unit
Yes, i know what a succubus is, and no, it was not a succubus.

@silverracer
Scratches those deep should have sprayed blood on the sheets, walls and pretty much everything near by.

I've had 'similar' dreams years ago.

I used to work a split shifts, and in between I'd sleep for a few hours.

I kept having these very intense dreams of a women I knew (but it was her and it wasn't her, like it was a disguise of her)...Anyhow she had huge black eyes. But, she would stare at me, as if keeping track, occasionally she'd move towards me, maliciously. The fear was overwhelming, and I would also experience sleep paralysis during these times.

These dreams were very frustrating and I would have to scream inside my head to break free of them.

I don't know what they meant, if anything, but I had been reading Communion by Whitley Strieber during that same time frame. Add that to the stress of having to be 'back to work', and kind of a wierd attraction to the women that appeared, and I think it was the perfect recipe for this type of dream.

Have never had them since that time frame.

I don't put too much stock in the meanings of dreams, but you never know. They're basically a result of what has been running thourhg your mind recently. When I was younger I used to wake up with dirt and dried blood on my hands and under my fingernails, and either with daytme clothing still on or piled on the floor by my bed where it was. My brother used to sleepwalk on a regular basis and would swear that he dreamed about monsters when it was just us trying to get him back to bed. We do LOTS of weird things in our sleep, and self-inflicted injury is actually one of the more common things.

Could you take a picture of the scratches? And what was the condition of the scratches when you woke up? Scabbed or scarred or still fresh? Half a centimeter is about this, by the way: ----. Extraordinarily deep for a wound, more of a gouge, so are you certain on the depth of the injuries? Because that would probably go deeper than the epidermal layers.

Also, here is what I consider the most comprehensive thread on BEKs on this site: http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum...c=81761&hl=

Actually, the thread that WraithGod pasted for you IS one of the best sources for you on UM. I've been researching BEKs for a book (fiction). I did feel the need to research it before I began writing. Though, there seems to be new items popping up every so often, so I try to check often. The dream you had could have been just your sub-conscience taking over. I know that for me, when I've learned something new, heard a new word, etc. I will often see or hear references everywhere or even dream of things I'd just learned. It's a possibility.

The theory on succubi is interesting. The sleep paralysis usually accompanies reported succubi. But succubi does not really go along with reports of these "beings" showing up in waking life and in other forms (children or men). Plus, succubi don't ask to be granted entrance, as is the norm with BEKs/BEPs.

Your dream is perplexing. If I were you, I would definitely try to keep a dream journal, so that it could be recorded. Write down everything you remember as soon as you wake up. If it becomes repetitive, try to notice any similarities, etc. which would indicate a theme.

The last line is key.
About the residential areas for Ethiopians. I wouldn't classify this as paranormal at all, but a dream whose images are built out of research into the paranormal that points to some under-lying, sub-conscious fear of Ethiopians.
