I'm going to try and make this as short as possible. A friend of mine, when he was a young boy, lived in the DR. He came to America when he was a small boy, and they lived in NYC. A Santaria (forgive me if I mispelled that) type woman told his mother that her son was cursed, and if they moved across the river to NJ, it would go away. Apparently, it didn't. This guy has the absolute worst luck. When bad things happen, they happen to him. Things break on him, he gets robbed. Recently, on a block with 100 cars, some punk kids were starting garbage fires and only his car and his girlfriend's car went up in flames. His car was totally demolished and unrepairable. Now he's driving his grandmother's car. This car's alarm has not worked for eight years. Today, the car alarm was going off all day, and the battery died during the day so he couldn't leave work. Things have been like this for him for as long as he can remember, but it's getting especially worse. They started the new year with his car on fire!

Though they're not generally superstitious people, they're at their wits end. Can anyone suggest any sort of purification rituals, or ANYTHING that might get this bad cloud off of him?

Why is he cursed? What did he do?
DesertFox
Yeah, what happened to him to make him cursed?
InHuman
Chances are its just coincidence and paranoia.

But I'm not ruling out that something might be up, what did he do to have the cursed placed on him (mabey it was his parents, or something from a past life)
