I have read several hauntings where babies were involved. Why do you think that is? I have considered many possibilities but the most interesting theory I have come up with is this: They want to live again. And what better way but to take a babies place? What if they are trying to some how exchange places with the child in order to live again? Could this explain some of the reincarnation where people remember their past lives. And if that were the case, does the transition some how disable the entity from remembering themselves more clearly?

You are referring to the literal possession of a baby, which i do not subscribe to. I believe childrens souls are protected from such things. Interesting premise though. Secondly, if i could come back, I certainly wouldn't choose to be a baby. Some unsuspecting, handsome billionaire would be my target.

Well, I couldn't think of any other reason there are so many babies involved with the paranormal.

It may well be because their lifeforce burns so clean and brightly. They are uncontaminated by life yet, and are a beacon in the darkness. They're awful cute too.

I am confused, do you mean reincarnation, possession or just involving a pregnant woman and or infant? I do know babies and toddlers are very perceptive and see and hear things we dont. As far as reincarnation, and spirits I dunno. I believe we live many lifetimes, but dont remember previous ones, yet somehow we do, as far as flashing images, dreams and fears/phobias. Babies are more innocent than anyone, so it stands to reason they can be affected. However I have never heard of a baby or toddler being posssessed. Lastly once a baby is born, a spirit cannot enter their body. Exactly what do you mean? LOL..JN

I simply mean that an entity may be trying to take the babies body so that in turn it could live again. It was just a thought. Just wait until I come up with a theory on all the scratching...

I can't bring myself to believe that a baby could be possessed. I just can't for some reason. I can handle ghost babies, but not possessed babies. They have souls of their own and are so loved, pure, and nurtured. I just don't know.

I have never ever heard of a baby that became possessed. I know they see and hear things, other than that, they seem to be off limits to Demonics.JN
