PM named 'Un-Australian of the Year'

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has been voted the Un-Australian of the Year 2008, for acting as a perfect gentleman in a New York strip club.
Men's magazine Zoo Weekly compiled the list of - mostly - people whose behaviour was deemed quintessentially un-Australian in the issue that goes on sale this week.
Mr Rudd was at the top of a list that also included terrorism supporter David Hicks, former Wallabies coach Eddie Jones and tennis player Lleyton Hewitt.
"We're all glad to see the back of (John) Howard, but when it emerged that Rudd had behaved like a perfect gentleman during his strip club adventure, it's poor form," Zoo editor Paul Merrill said in a statement.

"He also left within an hour so, he didn't even get his round in."
Last year it was revealed Mr Rudd was taken to Scores Night Club in New York while he was on a taxpayer-funded trip to the United States in 2003.
Mr Rudd, who was in New York to represent Australia at the United Nations, has said he was too drunk to remember details and that he regretted the incident.
Also making the Zoo Weekly list were Lleyton Hewitt for whingeing, captain of the stranded oil tanker the Pasha Bulker, and Shane Warne for bagging his former team mates.
The Sydney Cricket Ground was also named for serving only mid-strength beer.
