user posted image rSam Willey: It appears that the mystery of the Stephenville UFO seen by hundreds of people in Stephenville and surrounding areas is deepening even further. It was announced when the sightings of the mile long object first hit major news media that the Air Force did not have any aircraft flying in the area at the time of the event. Now officials have back tracked on that original statement and have admitted they in fact had a total of ten F-16's on a training exercise at the time of the sighting and that the F-16's were mistaken as a UFO. Resident who saw the craft and even those who did not are sceptical of the new explanation and are far from convinced that the Air Force is being entirely truthful about the entire affair. Now a theory for why the fighter jets may have been in pursuit of this object has been put forward. Eyewitnesses to the event which include experienced pilot Steve Allen have stated they clearly saw air force jets chasing the UFO on January 8th. Could this be due to the fact the UFO was only 20 miles away from the Bush ranch? Which is located within restricted air space and could the UFO have violated that air space? The edge of this restricted area is Class D air space and is located only 16 miles south east of the centre of Stephenville. This prompts questions that could suggest the UFO over Stephenville was tracked on radar therefore F-16's were sent up to investigate the anomaly.

If this is the case the military are covering-up a value aspect to this case which would be the visual confirmation of this craft. It should also be noticed that the location of the Bush ranch is no secret and it seems strange the media have not picked up on this fact during any of the reporting they have done over the past two weeks.
