chinese lunar new year comes on Feb 6th 2008,according to our tradition everyone must back home and spend the new year's eve together with all the families.for over 2000 years we allways do that.
in the recent 20 years lots ppl they work thousands miles away when the lunar new year's coming most of them would take a train ride home.that would be large number population,millions of'em so it's also a GOING HOME FESTIVAL.the entire country's transportation system is under horrorable pressure.that happens every year.
this year an unexpected massive storm across southern china,the e power was down along some major railways route.meanwhile the high way also got frozen the raod became slippery cos there's ice on it.transportation is almost down in few provinces southern china hundreds of thousands ppl are stocked on their way home.they got no where to go beside staying on board and running out of water and food.they are now still there.
the gov,the army,and lots ordinary ppl are helping'em,our ppl are fighting,china is fighting.

a 24 year old young man heard that his girlfriend is on a bus jamed somewhere on a high way from Beijing to Canton,they work in same factory.the girl sent a message to him said that she's got freezing cold and terrible sick,she's dying there.this man decided to WALK there to help her cos there's no transprotation can get thru due to the storm.when the journalist saw him he's still wlking alone on the hi way with only 32yuen (less than $5) and no food beside those for his girl.he's been hiking overnight for 16 hours and he's not there yet."i'll be there to be with her!"he said to the journalist.he's now still walking alone.

a 32 year old man is looking for his parrents and his son among those jamed viechles on the frozen hi way connects Beijing and Canton.he's holding a hot water canteen in his hand that's for his families.he was luckier that he rent a van and ride to the entrenc of the hi way which was already closed.then he began to hike along the frozen hi way.the journalist just happen to meet him nearby the entrenc and gave him a ride to the jam area.he said he works in Shenzhen city(a big city in southern china close to Hongkong) with his wife,they left their only son at home with grandpareents which is 800KM apart.this year the grandparrents decided to take the boy to see his dad and mum at lunar new year.soon after they started the trip they met the storm and got stocked on the hi way together with other thousands of viechles.cos it's too cold on the bus the oldman got sick and he sent a cell phone message to his son for help.
