Every so often - twice this week and one last week - I got an email alert via msn. I click on the mail symbol in msn messenger to go see who it's from, except. There's nothing there. My msn says there is until I sign out and in again, where it then says I've no new mail.

I'm going to scan my computer right now, so I'll get back soon.

Yeah, I found some "Unknown origin" cookies. Rid of them, haven't had any since - touch wood - So I hope I sorted it.

Check your junk mail inbox. Sometimes it says I get e-mails but they aren't in my inbox, they end up being in the junk mail inbox.
