I remember something about the black smoke being a DHARMA security device before the EMP of the island made it go rogue.

I really don't think the dog should count, and I hope he doesn't. People are so ridiculous about dogs.

I read the island was in the middle of a time distortion - now a reality due to this season and due to Daniels experiments - and that the black smoke is an immune system of the island.

Also due to the slaver ship, some Africans may have survived and this is why there is so much voodoo on the island - the organs in jars in thingies-house (forgot his name, starts with C) and the salt surrounding his house.

So many theories about the island >.< And, with JJ Abrams being the producer, we'll never get any answers =/ .

I wouldn't trust much of what you read. I mean after the first season there was a popular theory that Vincent, the dog, was behind everything that was going on. People on the internet aren't so bright.



Do you mean Jacob? If you look closely during - I think- the first episode you see him in, he looks a lot like Christian Shepherd, Jack's dad. Not sure if that's official or not though.

Back to civilization, one of the first things i did was download all of season 4.

And damn it's good! Nice answers, a few more questions.. etc. Not much to say, it's just good!

Yeah, It's just like in the old episodes of Star Trek. Anytime you see someone brand new, you know their gonna die!

Sadly, no one on the island wears red. So it's harder to tell who will die.

Filler episode, pretty boring.

At least we now know Jacks timeline. Visits Hurley, Kates Trial, Living with Kate, then grows beard and tries to get back to the Island.

Switched channels after about 5 minutes.

Then why bother watching at all? At this point the only people still watching Lost are the ones that have seen every episode previous and want the answers. And if you have, and just decided to not watch, that's a waste. It was a valuable story driven episode.

Last nights episode was terrific. Answered again a few things, opened a few more questions, etc.
The Ben/Locke episodes have really gotten terrific.
