this show still sucks story wise but i must admit the only thing that kept me intrested i last nigt sepisode is how hot sayid looked with his hair straightened and in that suit YUMMY

I mean come on. Couldn't they have revealed it a little better than that.

The eppy was very boring, I slept through everythign except the sexy bits with kate and the ending where Locke goes ARD-CORE.

The Eli stone eppy was VERY well acted but the secondary story was lame. Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince made a guest appearance as a lawyer btw.

i just wish they had at least two "answers" episodes per season where all they do is answer questions instead of making new questions with each episode with flash forwards and new characters nobody likes.

sorry guys, it seems you get episodes a little bit before me. the kate-centric episode was aired last night in the uk. I was soooo confused about what you were talking about.
i've got another theory by the way.
some people actually come to rescue them but they can only rescue 6 or 7 people. clair decides to stay on the island and gives erin to kate to bring him up in the proper world. if you can remember, a few posts back i guessed that erin would get off the island.

I'd swap Locke with Ben. Simple reason being we saw Ben in Germany, Locke is still on the island. Otherwise I agree with you.

THe newest episode (desmond centric) is getting the season back on track..

But the frieghter moments are taking to long to get to the dam point...

So how long till Des is dead? There's no way they can keep his character going with all the new twists, I hope atleast he meets Penelope again before it ends..

I really liked the new episode the narrative structure was fantastic. I really hope Desmond doesn't die though he's one of my favorite characters.

The whole twist with the gas being released in the station was only bearable because of the kick-ass faraday and that semi-hot chick..

I'm losing intrest fast, and the promo for the next war already has me a bit frustrated...

you play this guy who has lost his memory in the crash.
the storyline is typical of tv-game tie-ins but if your a fan of lost it works well.
i wont give away the story but it's nothing like the lost we've all come to know and love.
it's a mix of talking with the main characters and puzzle solving but it's still quite good.

the voice acting behind hurley and locke are amazing unlike charlie and des (who funnily enough actually provided his own voice) that sounded a bit dodgey.

Urmmm, shes cute and all but replace clair with another kate/sun/that girl from the heli.... or better yet, how about making a decent few episodes before a spinoff is considered..

The Oceanic 6-
Ben and Desmond can't be counted because they were never on the plane. We know that Ben escapes the island. I believe that Desmond should too, at least long enough to see Penelope again. His tale is too much like Odysseus', and Odysseus gets back to his Penelope. Aaron doesn't count because he was born on the island and is just an extension of an adult who was on the plane. Since Ben gets off the island it is safe to assume that others, like Juliet (just a character example), will get off the island. That means that the person in the casket wasn't necessarily ever on the Oceanic flight.

That leave us with these people so far (if I recall):

Charlie-
Desmond was "reborn" on the island after dying selflessly to keep the others on the island alive. Charlie also died a selfless death for the island's inhabitants. It would be inconsistent for him to not be "reborn" like Desmond was. Hugo may have seen Charlie's apparition at the mental hospital, but it doesn't necessarily mean that Charlie permanently died at the end of season 3. I think Charlie will be back again, at least for a while.

The casket-
It could have been Ben faking his death to protect his anonymity. That would explain why Jack would feel a duty to attend, why Kate didn't, and why the deceased had no family. The only family Ben had was his father and he killed him. Everyone else has extended family and friends, except Sawyer perhaps. If it was Sawyer I doubt that Jack would attend and that Kate wouldn't. Sawyer would have stayed on the island anyway.

Man on the boat-
I think that it is either Michael (most plausible) or Charlie (most Lost-like and shocking ) who is on the boat. I don't know who else it could be. Thursday should be interesting.

I agree, the captn/informant on the boat is proably Michael, he feels bad for betraying everyone and wanted to see them again but he owned alot to Ben so he plays on his team... but it does make you wonder if when he got off the island people began noticing him..

i love lost, but i have only just discoverd this thread :L if you remember at the beginning of season 4 in hurleys flash forward he said to jack ' im sorry i went with locke' that must be a major point in the storyline, also do you think that locke and ben will settle their differences to oversome a common enemy aka the people on the boat if they are enemies anyway )

I think Locke and Ben and the other members who followed Locke, will become the new 'others'. I mean, it's a mysterious world, away from all the troubles of the world, so I doubt many would want to leave, Instead, they'd probably do a complete 'others' again.

Yes, but you forget the fact Ben semingly had a huge amount of fake passports.... Im not sure why the other people would lie and say he was on the plane, but it could be possible that he could fake that he is someone else...

I don't think Ben would want to draw any unnecessary attention to himself, though. It would be bad for him to have his image on every TV around the world. He does have issues with the people who are after him now, and probably others (IMO). I suppose he could fake his death after leaving the island as one of the 6, but I don't think that'd be too effective if the enemy group has decent intelligence. I also don't know how he could get himself off of the island with the Oceanic survivors, if it is indeed the people on the boat that rescue them for whatever reason. They know what he looks like, false passport identity or not. If someone else takes them off the island I definitely think he could use his passports to his advantage.

Yeah I don't think thats what actually happens, but I won't discount it at this stage.
