Those are links to take a look at some places. Every house except one which I've lived in has been haunted. My very first home of my own used to be an old peoples home and at least once a night a black shadow walked across my living room to the center of the room and disappeared. There were 5 witness' to it one night and we all went outside to see if someone had walked past the window to cause the shadow. No one was there.

The Bell Hotel was one of MY regular haunts on nights out and I was friends with various people who lived there or worked there a few years ago (its all changed now) and I can say it is definatly haunted. A friend of mine had to go upstairs to grab something for one of the barmen and my friend had to walk past the office. He said there was no light and no one in there yet there was a solid black humanoid shape walking around. He went in and put the light on yet no one was there. He freaked out and ran downstairs back to the bar. The wet nurse ghost can be heard on a quiet day upstairs in the hair and beauty college nextdoor (where i studied for a while). I was on reception duty with a girl called Beckie and we heard someone walking around upstairs, we hadn't seen anyone come up the stairs so Beckie went to investigate and came downstairs as white as a sheet. She just picked up her cigarettes and went for a smoke leaving me to wonder what the hell she'd seen. I finally managed to get her to tell me and the result was..........nothing. No one was up there but the footsteps were still heard whilst she was upstairs.

One place they don't mention on that website (i think) is a music shop called Folds. At the back of Folds in the shop you would not think there was another room built at the back. Yet there is. Whilst on a ghost walk my mother went on they told the story of the room. Round the back of the shop is an alley way which can be gotten to via a footpath next door to a shop called Ponytons (i think thats how its spelt). On the ghost walk the group are lead up this alley way and told about the horse and coach which haunts the area, my mother and a few people heard it and I, myself, have witnessed it. Now for the room.
The tour guide tells the group about this mysterious room. On a quiet night in the alley way scrathing can be heard coming from the bricked up window. Again, something I've heard. I heard it when I can out of a club at closing time and really needed the loo so I ended up down the alley way behind a dumpster. I thought it was rats at first and so disguarded it in my drunken brain until my mum told me about the room. After much thought I realised the sound did indeed come from a higher source than the ground. Anyways. The owner of Folds refuses to open the room on the basis that whatever was locked in there was put in there for a reason. If anyone has any questions about Derby please feel free to ask me. Just make sure you use reply so I get an email informing me.

I'm just down the road from you in Birmingham.

I've heard of Derby Gaol before now, seems like a well creepy place. Richard Felix owns it I believe, have you ever been?

I'd love to visit the UK one day, I dunno why but it seems to be a magnet for ghosts and the like!

I've not been personally. I've not met Richard but my boyfriend did go to school with his son William so I'm hoping I get the privilage (spelling?) one day lol. Yus Richard does own the Gaol. I would love to go there at some point but unfortunatly every one I know is a skeptic lol. Therefore, being a scardy cat of the dark, I am not going on my own lol.
