around febuary1 and january30 Jupiter and Venus will b lined up. i went outside and saw them. but i also saw a third red planet. i think its mars. so go outside and look up. its pretty cool.
Mars is actually in the night sky, maybe 10 degrees north of the top of Orion. It's not with Jupiter and Venus in the morning. It's highly visible almost at zenith in the northern part of the US for a good portion of the night.
Venus and Jupiter are beginning to slowly move apart, but they still make a pretty pre-dawn show ...
Lil!
You've still got a chance with that telescope!
Plenty of cool stuff happening in February!
