A few days ago, I woke up with some scars and a rash, the rash was on both hands. On my right hand, near the wrist where 3 marks, like this:

O O O

And on my pinkey finger, on my right hand, near the nail, where three little marks, like this:

. . .

Today, I woke up, and there was no rash, and no scars. Even though last night I went to bed with it.

What happened? Ghost? Alien? Coincidence?
Thanks for all the help.

Could be a prank. Or it could just be a coincidence that both scars somehow showed up like that.

Maybe you went to sleep on a pencil without an eraser, and fell asleep on the round, metal part that holds the eraser. xD

I would probably say coincidence . If it was caused by something , it would still take time to heal . What caused it ?? . But they can cause them but they cant heal them . Could have been the way you slept on it . If it wasnt how you slept , have you had anything happen before or after this occurance.

This is the first time anything like this has ever happened.

Well if its the first time its happened , I wouldn't worry about it at all . If it happens again then I would look into it .

I am amazed that scars healed that quickly. Normally scars take a long time to go away, and fade out. These must have been rashes and not scars.
As for what caused them, it is hard to say. Could it be some kind of bite? Bedbugs? Then again i had the same thing happen to me also, but on my
ankles. I had a dream that I aliens were putting something in my ankles, and woke up the next morning with two perfect round matching scars on both
of my ankles opposing each other! Yikes oh no ohmy.gif Then both of my ankles hurt for a year afterwards, when they didn't before! The scars took over a year to fade away. So was I operated on? I doubt it.. What caused the scars and the pain though? Who can say? I am not going there. Everything is back to normal now, so I am not worried about it. Just keep the flying maggots away from you original.gif)

I wouldn't be too concerned, I'm sure it was nothing...If you have any animals it could have been flea bites...or numerous other logical explanations... it was aliens they would have put a pin hole size disc up your nose.... original.gif

Maybe it's because I'm the epitome of human perfection. wink2.gif

I have woken up with throbbing scratch marks but this is unique. I have no personal experiences with something like this. But...I would try to investigate it.

If you fall asleep on jewelry, a zipper, anything, and you keep it on your skin long enough, it's going to leave a deep, long-lasting mark.

I like being technicaly, so I'm going assume you meant fairly fresh scratches or indents of some kind as opposed to actual scars.

To me, it sounds like you got bitten and then scratched and picked at it during the night... wash your sheets and pillows etc. in hot water and see if it happens again.

No I dont go to bed with anything like that.

But I forgot to mention, before this, I got a couple scratches from my cat, and when the rash and scars went away, the cat scratches didn't.

You might not notice them, they might be on your clothing or pillow, you never know with that. Folds of cloth, nails, and teeth could easily produce the same effect.

Having the rash fade is nothing weird, the scratches are no big deal either. The shallower of the scratches I got Saturday night from my stupid friend's stupid beer ring are gone now.

I did these with two short (<1s) presses (about as hard you hit a keyboard's keys) of my nail per circle about 20 minutes ago. They are more red in real life and look like scars. The indent is lessened but the mark is still clearly there.

Cold.
Weird, because I woke up with a sleight rash on my arm just the other day, myself.

This is relatively off-topic, however... is that an Acer laptop you have in the background? If so, then I have the EXACT same one as you. o_o;;

LMAO Why yes, yes it is, complete with shiny fishie stickers.

Edit: Although you can only see a Lilo and Stitch one... kekeke.

Is it possible that you didn't really wake up when you saw the scratches?

I'll often think that I am awake and the most often thing that will happen is my teeth will be extremely loose or even missing everything else looks as it should my bed room where the TV and fan are suppose to be, all normal, but my teeth will be loose, or falling out, I'll some what panic because it's like i really just woke up with a hand full of teeth gone, it feels so real i can't stress that point enough than I'll really wake up and my teeth are normal of course.

This will often happen when you're coming out of a deep sleep and your brain is starting to become awake and aware for a few seconds but it's still in a dream like state and than you'll fall back into a deep sleep again.

If this type of thing doesn't happen to a person often, typically it will just be counted out as something odd happening.

but for people like me, who go through this every night sometimes a number of times at night they become more aware of what is a dream and what isn't and can control it to an extent
but anyone who's been through this will tell you it's just like real life.

sometimes you'll have some of your senses when this happens like feeling, scent, hearing.

it's in the same family as things like lucid dreaming, and sleep paralysis which has been being studied as the phenomenon behind people thinking they are being abducted by aliens, because they just feel so real.

This would be a great explanation to the fact that you saw the scratches once and than when you wake up for good they weren't there.

Sorry if you don't understand what I mean, it's one of those things that's extremely hard to explain.
