It's cool though.. and a faster way of making a skyscraper. cheaper too.

I'd be surprised if the floors moved as fast at the video shows (I have no sound, so I can't hear what the announcer is saying).

We have buildings that rotate in Seattle, but it's just single floors. The whole top of the Seattle Space Needle rotates, once per hour.

There are also two Holiday Inn restaurants in town that have circular top floors that rotate as well.

It would be kind of interesting and cool to see a whole building where each floor rotates independently of each other, but I don't think it's really much of a new idea, I just don't think it's been done before.

I think they are exag. the movements of the floors. but I think you could control the speed of rotation of the floor. ( if the floor is all yours. )

That is weird.

i wuldnt like to live in a rotating apartment. get motion sickness in your own home.

i just dont see the purpose, but then again we will always find something to waste money on.

Well i don,t know if i,d call it a waste of money since it uses wind power, and is environmentaly friendly! And as a few people stated i think the footage was sped up so the viewer could see the full effect, it probably goes slow enough that you wouldn,t get sick at all! As well as not really costing that much to build since an entire floor takes only three days to put in place, and it,s quite a work of art as well! So far i,d say it,s got a lot going for it, but i guess only time will tell if there are any unforseen kinks in the idea!
MissMelsWell
I'd guess it rotates so slow you don't even really notice it's moving. That's how the Space Needle is. Any faster than inperceptible movement and it would be dangerous.
